The wall, when you paint keep a lappie close, if some paint gets on the skirting and its a darker than white, just wipe it off with the lappie, obviously use a small finer brush to edge with - I do the edges of the rooms, corners and skirting as well as the ceiling area that way then colour in the rest. Make it a rather wide stretch and you wont easily make a mess.

When the wall is dry I do the skirting the next day and same - thin brush do the top slow and careful, wipe with cloth if any gets on the wall.
DAMP cloth works best. Also remember to rinse it out every now and then

I have a problem in that this hole is blocked some how, and I donā€™t know how to clean or unblock it. As we can see there is always water in there and the smell coming from there is rather pungent. Help?

Can you get under it and see if you can see where the water is coming from, if thereā€™s a leak

Thats the overflow. Do you have it piped at the back of the sink or is it built into the unit?

The overflow is linked with the drain in the bottom of the sink. Probably clogged, so try adding drain cleaner to see if it eats away the blockage.

This is the one I always use for blocked drains.

Just take note that it foams and fizzes as it works and gives off caustic fumes. Donā€™t sniff it.

Problem is, it ainā€™t the drain thatā€™s blocked, only the overflow is. The drain functions fine.

Yeah, I did. And upgrade to UHD, then mounted it to the wall and put wires in trunking to tidy up.
