Great show, a lot ‘deeper’ than it seems on the surface. Lots about philosophy and ethics.
Discovery of witches season 2! It is SOOO good!
As long as you havent read the books then yes its awesome.
I have to stop comparing the season with the books - its a combination of books 2-4
Will read them when this season is finished, for sure
Ok so far this season’s Expanse has me very happy.
And this apparently started:
Just watched episode 1 of WandaVision. Lots more potential than I expected. Looking forward to the rest…
Im not sure if you are sarcastic or not. . . I really struggled with it
Being serious I will be reading up on the setting more, where it fits in etc. I loved the Truman Show and this is giving me similar vibes but with a Marvel heroes twist.
Edit: show is 22 minites long, followed by nearly 8 minutes of credits…
hahahaha the script and acting feels weird. Let me know what you find out and where they are taking this
Me too, I fast forwarded through a lot of it, irritated me.
I’m loving WandaVision, but @Wyvern and @Shrike’s comments are not without merit.
The series is canon and there is a huge amount of backstory to where Wanda and Vision are in terms of the MCU at the time of the series. It takes place after Endgame, Vision is dead (killed by Thanos in Infinity War), and Wanda is still in mourning for her lost love.
Whether WandaVision is the result of Wanda dreaming about the life she had hoped to have with Vision, or whether it’s something more sinister is yet to be seen. Personally, I think the latter.
The show-in-a-show thing has gone through 50s and 60s style sitcoms so far. The 70s Brady Bunch is in episode 3, and colour too.
The weird bits in between the in-series shows’ credits and the broader episode credits also suggest that there’s something else entirely more sinister going on than just Wanda dreaming about an idyllic sitcom life with Vision.
Useful reading for pre-WandaVision viewing:
And more here, but only if you want to:
Havent watched it yet - I still don’t know how I feel about another freaken reboot - what happened to original tv?
Looking forward to this, he is a great actor. I loved his bad guy in Doom Patrol.
Been eagerly waiting for this for a while now. Here’s the opening few minutes again that were shown at New York Comic Con ages ago…
Steve the Pirate!
I, Robot!
K-2SO!
Washburn!
This guy is a legend!
You forgot A knights Tale, Dollhouse, Con Man, and a favourite of mine 28 Days with Sandra Bullock
