The pedals are definitely better than the Thrustmaster T-LCM pedals, especially if you’re into GT or F1 racing.
Your “friend” needs to prioritize like the rest of us. I can’t tell him what he needs

vs the old GS
It looks so similar, it’s probably pretty close to the same hardware. What’s puzzling to me is their choice of rubber on the grips for the more expensive, yet they put alcantara on the cheaper wheel 
I think they may just not sell the cheaper wheel rim, at this point. I already ordered the Display-less version, and now I’ve got FOMO 
On the other hand, maybe it’s perfect for me, a more road and rally focused simracer (I probably won’t race GT much).

That is definitely more of a formula rim than GT (the new one with screen) and as awesome as they can be, I would be more than happy with the GS rim, without the screen.

Yes. Every single thing that looks like a dial or button or thumb stick, works.
There are hand clutches. Is that a thing in ACC? Mine no work
