Im avoiding the migraines by having some caffeine, but feel exhausted
Lots of water helps. If nothing else, it will keep waking you up to go to the bathroom
yeah i drink plenty so it hasnt been too bad
To the SABC yes… But the rest of the country would hail us as heroes!
EDIT: I read the comments and thread now. Yes, haters will be haters. Fact is, you need a TV license to buy a TV and I prefer a degree of independence where I don’t have to beg someone to buy it on my behalf. I bought a new TV last year, so “renewed” my license (i.e. paid up the accrued license- and penalty fees since the last time I bought a TV) then. This year I decided to pay the amount timeously, as the penalty fees they levy are quite steep. The license is actually nothing more than a tax, and I believe in giving the taxman what he’s due - however corrupt and scandalous he might be. I’m not much of an outlaw, to be honest, and prefer having a clean record so that nobody can ask questions if I apply for anything where credit-, reference- and history checks are required.
Góðan daginn!
I’m with you on that.
I really don’t like paying the tv license. But man, I’m lawful good and I’m proud of it. If everyone was like me the world would be very boring but it would be such a better place.
Good morning!
@Solitude and @FarligOpptreden: Yeah, ignore the peanut gallery. They’re just being edgelords, as always
The fact that the SABC told me they use a mainframe was just priceless.
Wow that is funny! I suppose the CTO is as clued up as Eskom’s CTO
Well, what if it’s true? What if the SABC TV Licensing system really does still operate on an old mainframe that’s somehow buckling under the load?
greetings !
i received my takealot package at 8 this morning
Haha! On a Zoom meeting with engineers and contractors. Not as smooth as some other meetings I have been in
Morning people of the palace
I find that funny since apparently no one is paying.
Try project managers who go over last weeks minutes and then go over the same agenda for the this weeks minutes.
Morning everyone.
Dude I pay my one traffic fine every 3 years. . . . I can’t not pay it.
Also wtf
I honestly think they didn’t know what they were talking about. IIRC their site ran on ASP.NET, so it’s more than likely a Windows Server. Just badly configured and probably terribly built and optimised code.
