My son heard me singing (paraphrasing) Karma Chameleon and didn’t know what it was. Now I’m sorry that I showed him this video, as now have a have to deal with the questions.
Good memories right there, grade 10, dressed in a pink sweatshirt, with eyeliner and lipstick, pitching up at the cool high school kids party at one of their homes, popping that in the hifi tape deck and dancing to it before leaving at the confounded faces standing around their braais and boerewors.
Monday after was fun, I was hiding in the library and the art class so as not to get beaten up.
I had a fun childhood experimenting with other people’s discomforts and prejudices
So I’ve got “My Mix, Workout Mix, Focus Mix and Chill Mix”, of which they’re using very much the same recommendations at least in terms of genre. I’d love to know how YT gets to know and catergorise these as they do.
I just love their recommendations, its great to not have to skip a song.
Agreed, I seldom skip now that you mention it. Unlike the Spotify recommendations I find I skip more frequently.
Exactly, the google algorithms just works
Only recently started using it, still skipping a lot, though making sure to dislike songs as i go to try and get it working. Also does anyone else get a message that says something like “your account has logged out, please login again”
Ive not had that issue at all and I use all three platforms
On youtube in browser, i should say, it does not actually log me out, it just kinda refreshes and then takes me back to the home screen, its not that big of an issue since it seems to only happen when i stay paused on a song for a really long time, like a timeout type thing, but whilst i am playing music and going through the playlist it is fine
That is odd. Sometimes I often leave it paused over night as I try not to use my laptop during “family time” or outside of working times. Try using the dedicated https://music.youtube.com/ link maybe?
Or maybe another browser, I use Firefox and Safari.
Shameless self promotion incoming:
My buddy and I just released a new single for our little studio project, Soul’s Darkness. It won’t be everybody’s cup of tea but if you’re into heavier music you might enjoy it.
Not always my cup of tea, but seriously dude - that is impressive!
Thank you so much!
Impressive. Most impressive.
