Doesn’t it make more sense to respec and go into New Game Plus?
Maybe, I didn’t even know there was a new game plus. I’m not sure it will be the same experience though, starting from the bottom could be fun if you already know what to do.

Finished Wasteland 3, started playing Remnant last ashes and stopped after I found out it is Elden Ring with guns. Downloading AC Valhalla now.
Hmm. Now I’m in the mood for Remnant. Think I’ll play some survival rounds tonight after work.

I’ve been playing FAR: Changing Tides in when I get a free, non-loadshedding moment. The atmosphere in the game is incredible. There are some puzzles, and the ship itself requires some managing to run it, but it’s amazing how great it is to simply stand on the ships prow and take it all in as you course over the waves. The sound design is restrained but fantastic, the slosh of the waves, the creak of the boat, the patter of rain on the metal hull… simply excellent.
Busy with far cry 6 and guardian of the galaxy
Still Phoenix Point, but on a break after I hit a difficulty wall that I need to reassess.
Trying Final Fantasy - Lightning Returns. Never really played a FF game before. It is so pretty though, but damn does the controls and combat suck. I’m trying to push through it and see where it goes, but I’m not very far in yet.
Then I also started Guardians of the Galaxy. I had a feeling it would be good and so far I’m enjoying it.
Lightning Returns is the third part of the FF13 saga, a bit of a choice to play that as your first FF!
On that note:
I tried a bit of the Stranger of Paradise demo. The tone is definitely odd, it seems to straight up embrace the corny. “kill Chaos” thing. Which is actually endearing.
There’s a lot going on with the gameplay, it feels like a hybrid between action and RPG combat. I’m not sure I like the feel much. But it has potential to be interesting.
Guardians of the Galaxy on PC - REALLY enjoying the game. It looks good and the gameplay is OK, but the banter is just amazing! One of the funniest games I have played!
I think the banter is why I was interested in the game in the first place.
I’m keen to play this!
Finished FAR: Changing Tides which was brilliantly atmospheric. It made me want to play the first FAR game.
AC Valhalla: loving it
Corekeeper: addictive!
Finished Guardians of the Galaxy.
My only complaint is that I wish there was more. The game just feels like it keeps going and going and it feels wrong for it to end.
I was happy to see one of my wishlisted games become free on Epic: In Sound Mind.
It’s a nice balance between action heavy horror, like Resi 7, and walking-sim horror (like Layers of Fear).
Early days, but the atmosphere is spooky and I like the plot so far. There have been several jumpscares but it also builds up a feeling of dread. I like it.
At the moment, I’m not playing anything really. Too tired in the evenings. But the times I’ve had some gaming I’ve been playing:
Divinity: Original Sin 2
Software Inc
Every time I sit down to game I realise its like 10pm and I just cant be arsed
Got this little gem because someone told me that if I loved both Subnauticas then I would love this
Great little game, it is in early access so IF it keeps going it will be amazing. I am enjoying the fact that as you progress in your terraforming endeavors, the world changes because of it. I am willing to pay for the ride until it stops.
I deleted Elding Ring off my Xbox last night. Yes, really. No, I did not finish it…
So now I’m playing:
PC
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands
Cyberpunk 2077
Guardians of the Galaxy
Switch
Kirby and the Forgotten Lands
DOOM
Elden Ring
