Here’s another similar one to add to your Wishlist for a couple of months time when you’re looking for the next. Is in my Kickstarted projects. Early Access should be ready by year end - scheduled for October at the moment. Indonesian developers, so a bit of a South East Asian island vibe for a change.
So in a fit of absolute randomness and boredom, I played Quake 3 arena on GamePass, out of curiosity I checked if there are any online lobbys and to my massive surprise there was at least 1 SA lobby, with 6 people out to 16 playing. there were also multiple other overseas lobbys also with players, how absolutely crazy, a game almost as old as I am still has active players.
I’ve been playing Spyro Reignited Trilogy - starting off with the first game and it’s been brilliant. I remember playing Spyro 2 on a friends PS One and having a blast back in the day. The remaster is true to the original gameplay while getting a significant upgrade in terms of graphics and aesthetic. It is a fantastic looking game and the gameplay itself holds up amazingly well in today’s age of gaming. The first game is fairly simple and I’m not having too much trouble getting 100% completion in the levels so far but I remember the second game in the series improving and adding a lot more to the game so that’s something to look forward to.
Yeah, I also own the trilogy and visually it is a stunning remaster (remake?). Gameplay it is a joy too even that my 2-year-old can play it with minimal frustration.
Bit lost for games, I bought and played Monster Hunter Rise this weekend. Played about 20 hours before getting really bored with it. It is pretty much the same thing over and over again.
Hopefully getting my RTX 3060 12GB this week, then I can jump back into far cry 6
Haha, that is what Monster Hunter is all about. It’s in the name
I’ve been playing a lot of Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle the past few days. I played it years ago and quit right before the end and then I bought it recently on a very good sale and got the season pass as well. Managed to go back to the base game and finished the campaign and I’m now busy with the Donkey Kong expansion, which is brilliant in it’s own right. Looking forward to the sequel.
I’m also in a bit of a rut otherwise. When I’m front of my PC I play any number of random games for like 30 min to an hour but my next gaming session I’m not feeling it anymore and go to something else. Nothing is really holding my interest at the moment.
I finished Mario + Rabbids Battle Kingdom as well as the Donkey Kong expansion so now I’m going to attempt Xcom 2 collection, also on Switch.
Apart from that I’m playing DBZ Kakarot on Switch and MH Sunbreak on PC with a bit of Lego games (LOTR currently), GTA V and American Truck Sim for some change of scenery.
Finished Terminator Resistance.
Will maybe start Mafia 3 this weekend if I’m not working. We’ve (finally) started building so I might need to catch up on work over weekends if it is too much of a distraction during the week.
