What are you playing now?

So, I officially completed BALL x PIT on Game Pass. What a tremendously fun game! It’s the first game I’ve ever gotten 100% for on Game Pass:

Currently busy with Hogwarts Legacy, seeing as I’m still subbed to Game Pass. Must say, enjoying it quite a bit. I haven’t read the Harry Potter books or watched the movies, but I am enjoying the whimsical and fantastical nature of the game.

I’ve found myself hooked on Ball x Pit, I agree such a fun game. I like how unique the different characters are and the different combinations and strategies that you can combine.

I love how a character like the Tactician can transform the way you play the game!

How far are you in the game? Have you unlocked the ability to pair up any 2 characters yet? I found a powerful pair to be The Flaggelant and The Cohabitants. You soon have a screen swarming with balls, especially if you do the special balls that spawn copies or baby balls (and fuse those with AoE damage dealers so the baby balls also deal AoE damage).

Finished Outer Worlds 2, great game! Some of the moral choices are pretty hard to make and live with the consequences.
Next up on my month of hiring games from Gamepass: Void Train

Just unlocked the final level. Ya there are some great combinations that you can make. I had fun with the Tactician and the Juggler, being able to precisely launch the balls for maximum effect enabled me to smash through the 2nd last level on my first attempt. The Shield Bearer combined with the Cohabitants is also great for filling the screen with balls - will the give the combo with the Flagellant a try.

With Outer Worlds 2 launching I started the first game for the 3rd time. Made some excellent progress and I feel I am pretty close to the end. Really enjoying it but the dialogue is getting a bit much. I wish there was a Youtube / Audible style to make the dialogue quicker, because I want to listen, but dont have the time!

Ha, I was at the last mission and I did not even know it. 1 hour later and Outer Worlds is in the “Done” folder

Apparently the sequel is just as dialogue heavy. And the game apparently “punishes” you for skipping through the dialogue by letting the game auto-select dialogue options later on, influencing the outcome of the story.

It’s one of the flaws yeah. I just got it. It’s pretty lenient on the timing though. I still skip through things faster than it can make decisions for me :stuck_out_tongue:

You can choose whether or not to take the flaws. Unless you get the “flawed” flaw, which means you have to take all flaws that come your way. I’m playing with that and I have a lot of flaws. It keeps things interesting.

I want the story and even the dialogue. I just want to speed it up!

The Auntie’s choice faction completely rubbed me up the wrong way. I tried very hard to make peace with them but I really wanted to just murder them all. I didn’t though. I guess that is a virtual kind of self restraint :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
Their whole consumerism/extreme capitalism vibe really irritated me.

I went all in on guns and companion damage. Was real good fun.

Finished Outer Worlds 2.Really enjoyed it. It was a big step up from the first game in every department IMO so if you liked that one you will love this one. I definitely want to reaply it soon with another build. I might also return the the first game and finish the DLC first.

My buddy and I are playing Division 2 again. There is nothing new co-op we can find that we both want to play so we returned to an old game we love.
We are really enjoying it. It is great to play a game that allows you to have roles and succeed, where DPS is not the only thing you need to be.
I am doing a damage heals group build and he has a shield tank, healer and straight up sniper build. It is great to have fun together in this game again.

Spent yesterday setting up RPCS3 (PS3 emulator) on my PC and downloading and setting up some games to play on it. Every game I’ve downloaded I do own on PS3 but most of them run better on the emulator and some I can’t play because of damaged disc or motion control requirements.

PC
Killzone 1 (RPCS3)
Casltevania Lords of Shadow
Where Winds Meet (just testing it out, might not stick with it long)
Baldur’s Gate 3 co-op

PS5
Rise of the Ronin

Switch

I finished Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.
I’m not a fan of the combat / gameplay and I wasn’t exactly a fan of the type of world (i.e. weird monsters and things), but that was explained later in the game so that’s ok. The mechanics and concepts were pretty complicated too so I didn’t really have the energy to learn all of that properly, but that’s ok too.

HOWEVER, the story is beyond awesome, emotional, unique and deep. I don’t think it’s like anything I’ve played before and I still think about the impact of the endings.
Similarly to Death Stranding, I don’t think this game is very replayeable, but it is definitely a must-play.

Replayability will depend on the player I’d say. I finished it twice back to back when it came out and loved every second of it. I will also 100% replay it again, maybe as soon as next year.

I did my NG+ run mostly solo with Sciel and I want to try a solo run with Maelle as well.
