It’s INFURIATING . And yeah it’s def been getting worse.I want to play it so bad, but I know I’m going to lose my shit if it do.
same, also really want to play, but think I might wait until I upgrade my CPU some day
Div2 is a little too far into the “end game” for for my taste. This usually means that it is literally “end game” in a game for me.
Just Cause 4 is fun but also, too samey and I absolutely SUCK at driving/flying things so many of the missions are absolutely painful to me.
Currently downloading 2 games, one was for free: Kingdom come: Deliverance and the other on a real good sale (R270) on steam: Warhammer Inquisitor: Martyr with all the DLCs thrown in.
Looking forward to playing those 2.
I turned off V-sync last night and turned FPS limiter to 50… not ideal but it was pretty stable. Still had a few hiccups here and there but overall it was perfectly playable.
Its just drive here, press that, escort this - I got so sick of it.
I got a review copy of Gears Tactics! Look out for the review next week Monday when the NDA lifts!
Awesome! I look forward to playing that. Post a link to the review when it’s up.

Really having a blast with DQXI. I’m not the biggest JRPG fan but this game got under my skin. I adore the art style and especially the character (enemy) designs. This totally makes sense considering the character designer for DQ is none other than Akira Toriyama, creator of DBZ. I “finished” the game after 56 hours only to learn that’s it was a false ending and the “real” game only starts now. All enemies are way tougher, there is a ton of new content to do and new equipment to get and apparently I need to grind to full level to take on the real final boss.
I finished Control last weekend.
Still busy trying out The Surge to see if I’m interested.
I think in keeping with the theme of “the end of the world as we know it” (Mass Effect 3, Control, real life ), I’ll try Metro Exodus next.
2 weeks back this game was on a really good special, picked it up , all DLCs and expansion for R260. Only getting around to playing it now. As a Warhammer 40k fan since I was a kid, this is really well done. It is an ARPG with guns, space marines, chaos hordes and madness.
Really enjoying it
Got myself Luigi’s Mansion 3 and I’m really enjoying it. Luigi’s animations are great and the game is a lot of fun to play.
Gwent (PC and mobile)
Darkwood (Switch)
Witcher 3: Blood and Wine (PC)
Nier Automata (XBox)
I’m still making my way through Breath of the Wild. Other Switch games I bought and still need to work through are: Captain Toad Treasure Tracker, Mario vs Rabbids: Kingdom Battle, Golf Story, Steamworld Dig 2 and Dead Cells. I really wanna make time for more gaming, but with work being excessively busy (I work on average 13 hours a day, 7 days a week currently) I need to make time for my family as well. So gaming is taking a backseat for now.
The only game I play when I got the odd chance currently is The Division 2. I’m up to level 22 now (after the whole lockdown of playing) with around 25 hours of playtime.
Playing Metro: Exodus. Great story but with game-breaking bugs. It is possible to get past them but it takes forever to start the game back up once you find one of those bugs (which causes the game to crash) and that’s somewhat demotivating.
I had to replay two whole areas. Got the game at launch so it was very buggy back then. In the desert I had a bug with another character that stopped me from progressing. So had to replay the level. And then another area later there’s a cutscene before a big final battle of the area and every time after the cutscene the game would immediately crash. Had to redo that area too. All that for a pretty mediocre game.
About once every year I somehow fall into a Minecraft habit! Started a free trial of Realms for my 7 year old to play with her cousins during lockdown, and I have playing on there until 2 am the last few nights!
At least they wake up with surprise and wonder at what happened while they were gone
I’ve never played Minecraft. Actually want to give it a try at some point.
I’ve always thought Minecraft is a bit meh. Don’t get me wrong the stuff people make is insane but I couldn’t see how that can be fun. Then I played the demo of Dragon Quest Builders. DQB is like a mash up of minecraft and an RPG. It’s really cool. I got myself DQB2 on the switch as a bday present and I’m really enjoying it.
I even downloaded Minecraft on the Xbone but haven’t launched it yet.
Persona 5 (just want to see what the hubbub is about)
Hopefully some Final Fantasy XV Tonight
