Same, after I got the P Smart phone, I made up my mind to go for their tablet. Love it so far, now just to find a proper cover and tempered glass

Looking forward to a review in a couple of days after you spent enough time with it.

Very quick please!

My fire is stuck ina bootloop and wont hard reset

In all honesty, they look pretty much the same. Same CPU speed, RAM, screen res. Only real difference I see is the Mecer has 3G, and a little cheaper on special.

I would go for the Mecer. If you don’t like it, return it and get the Fire.

The Mecer is now the same price as the Kindle - R1399. How much cheaper was it last night?

R200 cheaper but it showed sold out so I bit think bullet on a kindle fire I actually went for the kid edition since it comes with a decent cover, and same specs as a usual kindle.

The one thing I dont really need but I do love the cover that comes with it.

No regrets so far, Ive already installed google and set it up like my old fire - I do like the 7" more, just a bit smaller, easier to handle and definitely faster than the older one
