Game Pass | Ultimate • Console • PC • Core

We all got a taste of Outriders with the recent demo, so I’m thrilled to announce that Outriders will be available on Console and Android phones and tablets via Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) with Xbox Game Pass on day one!

Just spreading awareness that this doesn’t seem to include PC.

Which sucks, was contemplating getting it this way rather than spending R800

This game is a big meh for me. It is so highly rated and well regarded but I don’t like it at all. It has some really interesting ideas, but it’s not for me.

Wonder how it will run on the ol’ XB1…

Started playing the demo last night, and while I have a few reservations overall it wasn’t that bad, acceptable. Much like many games of this nature there are specific slow downs or bottlenecks in certain areas that I have come to accept.

PS: I am playing it on a One X and not an Xbone.

I’ve read that it might have something to do with the game not being available on Windows Store, but not sure.

There is hope though. A couple of the games on that list came to console game pass and are now coming to PC as well.

Nier Automata is an amazing game, please do give it an honest try.

I hated it. And with good reason.

Making you replay an hour, including unskippable cutscenes, because you died is inexcusable and is ridiculously bad game design.

Apparently you can play the game on easy and skip that but it’s too late then.

edit

There’s some really good posts about it on the internet but I quite like this one:

I definitely won’t be playing on hard then!

Seems like after the prologue it’s better design, and maybe with the “game of the yorha” version they changed the checkpoint design

EA Play finally coming to xbox game pass for pc, litterally one week after I bit the bullet and got it on Steam. Anyone know if my Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order save will transfer to xbox?

I don’t think so eh.

As far as I know, Jedi Fallen Order has no cross-save functionality, nor does EA Play. I think you’ll even be lucky to have access to that save on PC with the two platforms of Steam and Game Pass. As far as my understanding is that games under the Game Pass label save files are quite complex or locked within their platform.

Then I’ll stop playing immediately!
Thanks for the info @Beo!

You’re welcome. I hope it helps or is at the very least accurate information.

But then again, hopefully you weren’t too far into the game that it feels like wasted time or progress in order to get bac kto the same point in the game.

I’m about 90 minutes in, so its just deep enough that I like the game enough to restart, but no so deep that it’ll be too much of a chore.
