I redownloaded the entire game last night, still does it. No other UE games do that.

Make sure to enable and allow the game thru ALL firewalls - especially windows ones - that is what sorted out my issue with that last time.

Yup. Immediately recognised Pennās voice over the COV radio broadcasts. Mayim Bialik is obviously there as well (hosting the Borderlands Science arcade game).

The only minor issue I have with the game is that there are certain weapons that are just way ahead of others. I found a rifle at level 12 which I am still using at level 38, nothing I have found so far has been better at all. So much so that I keep experimenting with any new weapons but always whip out my awesome level 12 gun when things get difficult, which is just weird.

I have a similar experience. I got one of those laser shooting, burger popping shotguns at level 14. I used that until I got another drop of it (with added incendiary damage!) at level 24 and Iām still rocking it as one of my main weapons at level 31. I try to vary my tactics and weapons, but when things get heated I whip out the trusty burger thrower and just destroy everything around me.

Gear in BL3 is balanced assuming max level. So when you use a top tier or S tier gun, while youāre still leveling, itās like easy mode. What makes things worse, gearbox attempted to balance gear against level 57, but itās not perfect. So youāre experiencing an amplified fuckup of broken gun balance, cos youāre still leveling.
I imagine this is what happens, when you donāt have one person, in charge of keeping gear aligned with the overall game balance, so you can hit that magical, I feel like Arnold Schwarzenegger, but the Arnie from Commando, not the one from Terminator

For someone like me who will probably not jump on the āend gameā hamster wheel since I just cannot see the point, I guess I got easy mode on all my characters then. I like feeling powerful, so its sort of cool. Just wish I could feel powerful in a different way with a different gun type, there are so many fun guns to use.

I guess Iāll try going back to the PS4 version for now. I just donāt have any of the DLC on there which sucks.
Do you need the DLC for the level cap increase?

I think I might have found a temporary workaround to get it running on PC and it makes no sense to meā¦
If I try to launch it more than once the second crash gives me this message:
If I say [Yes], the next launch will work and once I start the game there will be a message that I canāt read. (Itās like a notification banner but there is no text). Then the game works, but performance seems to be much worse than before the crashing started. I canāt even notice any difference in the settings.
If I quit and try to play again it will crash again.

I went back to PS4 now, got Handsome Jack DLC and I will get the new one tomorrow and then Hammerlock one next month or so. It plays better on PC, but I donāt have the patience for struggling, I just wanna shoot stuff.
Playing with my old FL4K again now.

I love the Hammerlock DLC. My first play though of the campaign was FL4K. For someone who is reaction challenged like me, having a pet that can actually hit things while I hide away was a huge bonus. Playing Moze now.
I also love how you can start a new character on a DLC and it will skip your character straight to Sanctuary.
I really hope the 3rd DLC is available on epic so I can use my next coupon to get it.

Yeah FL4K was my first character as well. The pet revive skill has saved me countless times and still continues to do so.
I do have both the first DLCās on PC but I enjoyed Handsome Jack more so got that for PS4 first. Iāll buy the new DLC as soon as itās available but I probably wonāt start until I finish Handsome Jack.
Amara is still my favourite character but until they fix her melee build for mayhem sheās benched. Although Iāll probably play through all the dlc with her on mayhem 2 or something.

So, was this normal:
I ended up fighting about 12 Jabbermogwais, with the resulting loot drop being 10 legendaries (Unending Magnificants and Lead Sprinklers). I already picked some up when I decided to take the screenshot.
EDIT: Seems like the problem was my burger slinging shotgun. Cryo damage duplicates the Jabbermogwai. Still, it was kinda fun fighting all of them and getting all those legendary drops.

In the Handsome Jack dlc, I am experiencing a crash at one specific point non stop
It is driving me nuts!
Im assuming you guys are playing solo? Any one else having issues with shift not staying online?

I play solo yes, but had some weird lockups in game where it kept disconnecting and reconnecting to Shift. It only happened once for about 15 minutes, but then it was fineā¦

Looks like theyāve adjusted the melee and pet damage for Mayhem with the new patch so I might go back to Amara sooner than I thought. Maybe finish the first DLC with FL4K and then go to Amara for new DLC. I highly doubt the order matters.

Looking forward to this weekend, been rallying too much. But now that all the major balance patches are out, and the DLCā¦ I dub thee Borderlands weekend!

Iāve played about an hour or so of the DLC so far. It is pretty awesome.
Iām only level 52 now and Iām playing Solo Mayhem 3 with Amara. So far my melee damage is good again.
