Cyberpunk 2077 — We Have a City to Burn🔥

So far I’m enjoying the game but I fear I might be close to finishing it already. Obviously I skipped a lot of side quests and things because they seem to spawn more quests as you complete them, but I’ve been doing a lot of them to get my level up.

Found a couple of easter eggs, but probably missed a bunch too:

  • Matrix: One of tv ads has shelves full of clothes flying in between two people similar to the “We need guns” scene
  • Roach: He is on a video game where he jumps over roofs and dodges a wyvern
  • Glados makes an “appearance”

This game has been quite a unique experience. Even though I don’t like the first person perspective, I suppose I can understand why they did it. I’ll wait for the modding community to get started before doing another playthrough (maybe some can make a switcher between 1st/3rd person perspective). It is hard to believe that this engine is an upgrade on the same engine that Wither 3 ran on.

Also, they really like taking you for a ride while talking to you in this game.

Anyone found Ciri?

The sniper rifle exploit is so tempting to use but so overpowered ;-( I end up just strongarming in and using handguns, swords and hacks

I love exploring the world and mostly just walk everywhere over driving, not even sprinting. This also helps with the texture streaming/caching issues on PS4. I am yet to find any easter eggs.

I haven’t even found a sniper rifle

I understood there is only a visual Easter Egg to her, and only if you do the Corpo Life Path?

I havent even found a sniper rifle yet!

But then again:

I am only now at the point where you meet silverhand - literally logged off at the point where you wake up and he is in the room

I did have one irritating glitch but all it did was make me go back to where you are

stuck behind the tv watching that dude kill the other dude - I went up the staircase the second time and found an awesome katana. My glitch was the security dude you needed to search for the access card was stuck in the elevator and I couldn’t search him

Can use msi afterbuner’s overlay to see fps. Use it for all my games

I have only done the first main quest thingy after you go to your own apartment , been running around the city exploring and doing everything I can. Found the rifle off some random thug I beat up.

Does that mean Cyberpunk 2077 is now a Xbox console digital exclusive? Even if it is temporary.
Odds on MS following suit and pulling it from the Xbox store too?

Haha good point.

I doubt MS will also pull it from their store. Especially since you can buy limited edition Cyberpunk controllers and consoles too I think? Not sure about the consoles but did see a Cyberpunk console pic on Reddit.

Eina…

(As a complete aside… I wonder if any of the “they shouldn’t have released it, it’s so broken, needs more time” folk are the same ones who berate CIG for the slow progress on Star Citizen? Or if SC might be getting a little bit of a reprieve from all the hate it’s had to endure over much the same amount of time.)

Must say I haven’t encountered any bug or glitch that makes the game unplayable.

Loving the side missions and the random encounter mission. Saw there was speaking of a sniper rifle. Got one last night as a reward for beating a guy up.

Love the mantis blades and the revolvers are bae🖤

Yeah, I’m even contemplating a purchase on the One X as well.

I’m trying to figure out how to buy CD Projekt shares from South Africa… Fire sale!

The exploit I encountered was not something I expected, I was experimenting with certain combinations of skills/weapons and stumbled on it. Not sure if it is an exploit as such as it is game parameters that are overset.

Hopefully they find a way to nerf it, because I can’t stop using it :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Here it is:

You need an energy sniper rifle, the kind that you hold to charge up. Any of the charge up weapons can shoot through tables and scenery but the sniper version seems to have been given the godlike ability of shooting through multiple walls. What you do is you use the ping daemon to highlight all the baddies in a building/area, you then use your scanner to tag them. Then you sit back and shoot em all dead with headshots through the walls. Sometimes the AI wises up and comes charging, more often than not they just stand still waiting to die.
