But the stream delay was a fuckup. so you had to choose to only listen to chat or listen to the stream.
Yeah it was a bit choppy - and I don’t think he had time to check the physical chat. I mean who would.

I am itching to replay DS3, but have decided to patiently await the DS1 remaster. Probably gonna grab this on PS4, although the Switch version is a possibility…depending on the price.
As an aside, I still prefer DS3 (and souls in general) versus the Bloodborne series. What do you guys reckon ?
I still need to play more of BB to make a call, however so far BB is way harder than Dark Souls. I’m glad I played Nioh first, cause Nioh taught me a lot about proper dodging, which is your only way to go in BB.
Might also be finding it difficult cause im used to playing a strength character with a shield. I’m going to finish DS3 with the DLC first though before going back to BB
Have yet to play BB - but the general setting doesn’t really appeal to me.
I just found it way too dark. I don’t mean thematically, i mean literally. my crappy Samsung plasma just didn’t seem to like it.
the setting is dark af. not to mention morbid as hell!
So I finished Nameless King on friday when my mate that was over wanted to watch me play something. Then I must have channeled something because i went for the final boss and solo’d him 1st time.
Guess I got alot better than when I “demo’d” the game a few years back

Someone did a challenge run to finish all 3 dark souls games without getting hit.
A nice 10 hours i would suggest watching when you have the time.
Do we still this include dlc areas as well, or is it more of a Speedrun challenge, through all three?
It’s more speedrun territory. Basically an all bosses run. I have only watched the first 20 minutes or so, so I do not know if it includes dlc. But I don’t think so.
The Remaster is out! Will anyone be playing?
I’m very keen but it’s too expensive for a game that I’ve played twice already.

I have the ‘prepare to die’ edition on steam that I’ve never played… If it was a free upgrade, I probably would give it a shot.

Nope. Personally got PTD edition with DSFix plus some extra texture mods so it’s pointless buying it again.

I first tried dark souls before PTD came out, hated it (since i didnt have controller). then played DS3 when it came out, loved it…got ds2SOTFS and loved it too… but i hear the remaster of 1 is basically just texture upgrade and 60fps fix for DS1, and that if you have PTD and the 60fps fix, there is NO reason to get it.
So I’ll wait for it to be in a bundle or something…I feel they really couldve done better. Skyrim was a free upgrade for those with original, so was bioshock. And i feel they remastered more…
I’ll get the Remaster on Switch. Eventually, probably not right away when it releases.
I also finished Dark Souls II (SotFS) the other day and am now doing a NG+ run of Dark Souls III.

DSFix essentially turns it completely different game. 60fps, improved textures, lighting. Vanilla DS1 is awful in comparison.

Dark Souls Franchise Sale over on the Humble store for the next few days. Honestly no idea if there’s any decent bargains there, but I see full games, DLC, expansions and a Deluxe Edition on offer.
