Agreed, but then again Disney has always portrayed the good Vs evil, light vs dark, cops vs robbers, etc. themes.

Ok, so Disney+ was pretty much unusable the weekend. It starts the movie, then stutters a bit and then the app crashes completely. Will try again tonight.

Going to sub for another month. I am not a fan but my wife discovered The Resident and I have tried my alternative methods to get the earlier seasons of this series but have fallen short. Will sub so she can watch it some more. R120 is not a bad price to pay to watch one series with some extras, just have to get over the crappy app and she is happy to use it.

Its just irritating when watching a movie, then buffering drives me nuts. Also how the heck aren’t you supposed to find something to watch if they oy suggest 6 items per category…
I almost think thats the only place you’ll find the 3rd season as well. My wife has been watching it too and couldn’t find season 3 anywhere. Until I got Disney+
Also Maybe I’m just watching too little Disney+ but I had zero buffering so far.

I have about 20 seconds of buffering before a show starts, and then nothing further. Both series and movies play without hassle. That’s about the only good thing I can say about the app. But should I have to compliment it for doing the very core function for which the app was designed for?

I’m not sure - also my wife can sometimes get a little confused when it comes to “free” stuff. She tends to BUY a lot of things for FREE all the time

Yeah, as much as I dislike the app and the overall user experience and how poor it is for content engagement I still think and feel it is the better content provider for me and my family.
That being said, one thing that is really annoying to me is not being able to see all product offerings, or only seeing a limited set of offerings. Things I search for and are not found are perhaps not part of the service, but not being to see ALL offerings from a certain criteria is a poor user experience.
Eg. looking for a movie to watch I went to the thriller genre and was only presented to the limited set on offer through the 5 or so options in that terrible horizontal carousel. This forced me to go to search and use the term “thriller” which seemed to work but then delivered a worse experience as not being able to see all content on offer that matches my criteria.

I’m going to watch Stranger Things and then cancel Netflix and try out Disney+. It’s the nice thing about these streaming sites, you can just keep one going at a time.

So, I signed up. Something that’s really cool is you can watch all the Marvel movies in order and the same with the Star Wars movies. I’m so far behind that I’ll tackle the one and then the other. Really cool.

Yeah, I’ve been watching them since I signed up but there are some missing, namely the Spider-Man movies. But they also have some shorts and series to fill in some gaps. There are a few ways you could watch these.

Yeah I think it’s still missing Far From Home and or No Way Home.
Which is why I am following this watch order:
@Solitude With the following coming first; Iron Man, Thor, Iron Man 2, Captain America The First Avenger (cos I’ve already watched them).

Ah. Well that’s a bit weak. They’re both well past their cinema only date by now. Maybe it’s one of those silly regional licensing issues with DSTV still having a block on them?

I thought it was due to them being owned by Sony license but then all those that you mentioned came to the service.
But Hulk movies are also missing, and I think those are Paramount.

Keep in mind I made that list specifically for the Disney Plus streaming service as it has some series and shorts as mentioned but also lacks a few entries which is why they aren’t part of my list.
