What does it matter if you place a thermometer anywhere in the mouth vs. under the tongue?

A) So that you cant accidentally bite it and break it.
B) so that is sits relatively still in your mouth - movement can affect the measurement.

That makes sense. Though it’s not a glass one but I think this one is also recommended for mouth or underarm.

Morning mewbs,
Been off for a bit. Started a new job as a laminator building super yachts. Bit of a learning curve, my body aches everywhere.
Working 50 hour weeks, but I need to so I can pay for my visa’s without taking out credit.
