Do ya’ll also have work functions to attend? We have farewell drinks and then dinner afterwards tonight and while I said I would attend, today I don’t feel lus to do so.

@beo - we have work functions at least once a month, so just go - we find it great for networking and just in general to meet and chat with the teams in person

I’ve got a work braai this afternoon to see off a colleague that meant a great deal to me. She helped me learn the ropes in my company and enabled me to get to the position I am. She and I won a couple of industry awards together for work we did, so while I wouldn’t dream of missing it, I’m also not looking forward to it - for purely selfish reasons, of course.
These things are worthwhile if its scarce enough. I’ve got a small laundry list I need to chat to my boss with, while having a chop.

Ugh we have one plug that’s now tripping everything. But the tripping goes away if I disable that plug on the db board. It’s very annoying.

Yeah we have these every now and again. our company is very social and there is almost always a drinks friday at work or groups of ppl organise something that ppl can attend if they want.
