In a way yes, I work full time and then I have been doing indie game testing for a while now as a side hustle. I am now making enough on that to be forced to do provisional tax.

The economy is really tough man. Take it from a business owner here. It’s not about valuing someone or not - it’s about ensuring people can still be paid when cashflow projections dry up. I would double everyone in our company’s salaries every year if I could, but sadly one needs to plan for the unforeseen. You might not be aware of the shareholders / owners taking a financial knock every so often to ensure the ship stays afloat.

We’re actually in the south of England so it’s not too bad. Had one or two extra hot days but otherwise mostly mild so far. We landed in Scotland and stayed with family, but then moved down.
