…or the achievements and a clean quest list.
After watching 3 episodes of the series thus far, I’ve downloaded the first game again, modded it a bit and I’m giving it a try. I haven’t played the game in so long that I can’t remember the characters, terms, etc. I hate the combat though so don’t know if I’ll be able to go through with it.
I’ll start number 3 up afterwards. But I played Witcher 1 so long ago and Witcher 3 so many times, only now after playing a bit of the intro of Witcher 1 did I find out that the other witchers were in the first game already (Lambert, Vesemir, Eskel).
I see a lot of you don’t like the gwent. I love it! Play against every person I can.
Never played any gwent after the first tutorial.
Finally! Someone who knows how to Witcher 3. I must admit, I’m skipping it in this playthrough but I’ve played a LOT of Gwent within the game.
I played a lot of Gwent during my first playthrough. Giving it a skip this time round.
Ah, the game where it all started. I remember the combat used that rhythmic click-pause-click-pause-click system rather than a button mashing system. There were some parts that were disappointing, but I remember loving the first Witcher game.
With the current playthrough I started all the way from 1, went to 2 and now with the. Since there are 3 main paths you can take in 1 I’ll restart it again the going to 2 and the finally 3. So that’s what I want to try and do with this gameclub
Just saved Jaskier and plotting to kill a King
Yeah, the game is a bit hard to get into (I was never a fan of the combat system). It is however very interesting to see how much Kaer Mohren remains the same between Witcher 1 and 3.
I’m prepping my Witcher 3 so long with the latest HD mods. Quite excited to start it up again.
Gwent it probably (according to me), the best mini game ever within a game. If you look back on the mini games they had in the first two Witcher games, those don’t even come close to this. I used to just play gwent before going to sleep when I was tired of running around .
Going to Kaer Mohren for the first time was one of my favourite moments when I played Witcher 3 for the first time. I loved exploring and comparing it to the first game.
I’m doing the Crones of Crookback Bog quest before I even go and talk to the Baron to see what (if anything) changes.
Ran into Letho while investigating the manor house infestation secondary quest and helped him disappear.
Never finished The Witcher 2 and not sure whether Geralt would’ve let Letho live after he killed Foltest, but that’s how I played it this time.
One of the playthroughs you can choose if he lives or dies And I think in the beginning before you see Emhyr they ask you questions if there isn’t a save available on your pc. Sort of to see what you did or what do you think you would’ve do
Yeah, he actually provides you with some interesting information at the end of Witcher 2 if I remember correctly (fill in a lot of the gaps in the story).
I have failed quite a few quests unknowingly, which I don’t really like in games in general. But it has made for some interesting gaming narratives or outcomes I never expected.
Just finished the High Stakes quest. Must say it is awesome
And now I set sail for Ard Skellige
I finished the Bloody Baron story line. I see why people love it so much.
It felt too real at times.
I have to go see the Baron now. I’ve found his wife. Was doing some sidequests first.
