So I started it…cant say its a game for me. Not sure i like the half turnbased/half realtime combat. it makes it so im literally just running away from things until i can charge my turn based stuff again. feels silly

In the beginning I thought the same. But as you progress and get more abilities it actually becomes very tactical. It feels like they only scratched the surface however and I would like a big RPG with the same mechanics.
It does feel quite disjointed with the narration and battle in short doses.

Yea I dont know why I loved it so much the first time. I loved the story and did find the combat irritating

O snap! I forgot about this. Luckily I still have a whole month to “force myself” to play it.
I try at least 3 times a week to finish the boss fight
I’ve only managed 2 hours so far 
Will hopefully have some time next weekend. Doing a course end of next week, and still have quite some reading to do before then.

Well, August is coming up and I’m taking 10 working days paternity leave. So I’ll see if I can squeeze in 7 odd hours to start and finish the game. It didn’t grab me years ago when I first tried it though…

Was wondering the same thing last night. Managed to get about an hour of game time in.
Closed my eyes while pressing LB for a couple of minutes…listening to her hum.
The game is really so beautiful. Love the music, the scenes, the story…
I reached level 7 last night. Finally unlocked more memory, but wasn’t ready to figure out what I want to install where, will figure that out next time.
