Well done everyone, will check everything tonight and give advise per person
just send in my numbers must say im kinda happy so far
Ok so I need to brag
6.6kgs down since my last weigh in 3weeks ago . . .
Well done!
Keep it up! Er… down?
I’m not making as much progress as I’d like, but my sleep has improved so hopefully I will start gymming again soon. I also picked up a 2.2 litre water bottle, so I make sure to polish it off before I leave work each day. It helps a lot.
Trust me I am not stopping! Ive basically made the switch to a healthier lifestyle, but still I am allowed to eat things like takeaways once a month, I don’t say no to birthday cake anymore.
Ive broken my sugar addiction Ive broken my soda addiction
Well done! Everyone has made some progress whether small or big, the main thing is you’ve all started you health journey! Sorry I’ve been abit quiet, been struggling with headaches everyone’s goal for the rest of the week is to eat 4x portions of fruit or veg a day.
Does a single mini-corn count as a portion?
Definitely not
Dang… Well I think I made up for it over lunch. I’m assuming I eat double portions at lunch (at least today, and hopefully this week), it takes up most of my plate.
woah nice
So I had 3 mini-corns throughout the day. What does that get me?
Had a crap tonne of frozen veggies and a massive pile of spinach with dinner. Hopefully I’m close.
Need to pick up some bananas or something, there’s only so much veggies I can handle.
You should try eat different fruit everyday, veg is easy as you can eat plenty of it, veg should make up 1/2 your plate. Corns not the best as it doesn’t have a ton of nutritional value. It also depends on how you’re preparing the veg and what you’re having with it.
I had grilled hake and roasted vegetables last night. I feel so healthy that I should go buy a McDonalds burger today. Haha, don’t worry, I won’t.
I never know what fruit to eat I kinda got over eating apples maybe I should try some new fruit. Any ideas or recommendations
Bananas or citrus fruit (oranges, naartjies or grapefruit) are widely available. Strawberries are also a good option with loads of anti-oxidants. You can mix up eating apples with some additions to it, like peanut butter, pink salt or cheese. The sweet and salty combination is a real treat.
See this time of year is my favourite, all the pineapple, mango, papaya, berries I can eat.
For me it is easy to do 5 fruit/veg a day - I have 1 portion of each for breakfast in the smoothie, 2 or 3 for lunch and then still half a plate of veg at dinner. . . .
I have apple for lunch.
Sorry been a bit hectic my side, berries, apples, mango, plums, apricots, pears, oranges, naarjies, grapefruit, kiwi just add a variety.
