Not sure how true / accurate the following is, but this was a notice posted by the Centurion Concerned Citizens Facebook group. While I’m not much on Facebook, the times that I have seen posts from them, it hasn’t been inaccurate.

PLANNED SHUTDOWN ON 23 AUGUST 2021 UNTIL PRESIDENT RAMAPHOSA IS REMOVED*
A poster is being distributed on social media in which the “Citizens” of South Africa are calling for a shutdown on 23 August 2021 until President Ramaphosa is removed.
The following message is doing the rounds on social media: ‘Yes, takes all public works and municipality trucks, cars, tlb’s, excavator’s, police vans and close all freeways, burn trucks and Vans, every day we need 100 guns each and every province’s or 10 000guns a day that’s means 90 000 including all provinces which must be taken from every police, traffic police and Army Plus private security company, let us release every prisoners and also take guns from prison warders we are only left with 30days. We don’t have time, we are left with 30days to September conference, please let us start now to make this country ungovernable” (sic)

Well hopefully, if there is any validity in it our super excellent police and security forces are a little better prepared for it than they were the last time. I mean, they have two weeks before this supposedly happens - more than enough time to fins the organisers and shut it all down well before anything does occur.
The amount of egg on the collective faces of El Presidente and his new security cluster employees would be ridiculous if they let anything vaguely like what is being suggested here happen.
