It’s too late to enter, but the Simola HIll climb in Knysna that is on this weekend (watch live at Simola Hillclimb 2021 Live Stream – Simola Hillclimb 2021) partnered with technology company Monarch ZA to create the virtual Simola Hill Climb. They created a standalone app to play with - I’ll be downloading when I get home to try it out!

Fanatec just launched their new DD wheel, this time made for Playstation and Gran Turismo. It is basically the CSL DD but with a wheel designed by Polyphony Digital, and it includes a pedal set, for $699. Ready to ship in March 2022. Excellent value if you earn USD or EUR. Not so much for us here.

They first teased this to be released before the end of the year. They are cutting it a bit fine 
Sim racers always taking it to the very limit!
Prediction: They’ll release something priced similarly but with less quality than fanatec. All they need to do is almost match feature wise, and then leverage the obscenely large region, that fanatec doesn’t ship to or isn’t financially viable to ship to, ie. EMEA.
I hope it doesn’t cost the earth and really does direct drive justice.
Yeah, I keep checking out DD specials, and am verye xcited about the Thrustmaster DD due to it HOPEFULLY being supported locally.
