Assetto Corsa (the OG) always lacked some interesting single player career mode. Now a modder is trying to fix that by adding a Gran Turismo style career to AC!

I missed this new “announcement” from Thrustmaster. Nothing really new annoucned. Yay, it has RGB.
The comments to the tweet are hilarious. People just want to know what is coming, but this is dragging on soooo long that people are losing interest before it is even fully announced.

I found this to be very interesting. I had heard about James Baldwin, the Sim Racer who won The World’s Fastest Sim Racer and got to drive for a real life team. I even saw one of the BGT races that he took part in. It seemed like a fairy tale, dream come true story for every sim race who yearns to do the real thing. It turns out things did not remain “happily ever after” but good to see that there is some light at the end of the tunnel.

Also watched this a few days ago. Glad that he has some plans coming, hopefully his dream of Le Mans becomes true. He is an awesome racer, on and offline. And if you ever heard of VeloceJaaames, this is him

Does anyone still race MNR? I’m looking for some bullshit banter while I race a fake car around a track on mondays or even tuesdays. Anyone? Strictly no serious league racing. Or have y’all level’d up in ACC to snobby status, and too good for the plebs?
@oltman and I still join the races on a Monday. They often have the track coming up in the Raceface league so a lot of the guys use that as practice.
They’ve also been doing AC races as the 2nd race each week. This coming Monday is the Dallara around Road America.
I may not make it this coming Monday, but I try join most weeks.

I never finished reinstalling AC with mods. I don’t care enough to, anymore. But ACC and AMS2 just works

When I see sim racing competitions I dont normally pay a lot of attention. I just do not stand a chance of winning. BUT, when mere participation gets you a chance to win then I am all in!
Finish within 3 laps of the winner to gain an entry!
And then there is another prize to win for WATCHING!
