Jax is completely nuts.
That is true. This week I literally only had one day for gaming and spent playing other finished games…
I won’t be able to join again during free fly, unfortunately. I’m testing mobile networks in Durban the whole of next week.
While I do own the game, it means I won’t be able to mess about with y’all that don’t.
It’s fine, at least you got to play along for a bit. Plus you can jump in whenever you feel like it at a later stage.
Drake Day at the Expo!
How many human-sized “slaves” do you think could fit in the Caterpillar?
SECURITY!!
The CitizenCon panel presentation videos are starting to go up on the SC YT channel, with the first 2 out last night.
They make for excellent viewing for fans, sceptics and anyone in between. If you have any doubts about the passion of these devs and the commitment and effort they have to bringing this game to reality, I’d urge you to watch a couple of these presentations.
Ship Talk: Learn about the new ships of CitizenCon.
Locked Up: Early insight into prisons and the prisoner mechanic.
The one I’m really looking forward to rewatching is Tony Zurovec’s presentation about the economy simulation that he’s built for the game.
Indeed, these are excellent. The planet tech videos are equally mind blowing. I actually rewatched Tony Z’s presentation yesterday. Some prominent streamers and content creators put the raw recordings on their respective channels ( Boredgamer, Noobifier, etc).
Prison gameplay looks like it could be really interesting! What do you say @GregRedd, are we going to get you locked up for murdering @Dragonic again?
And finally, we go to the lap of luxury.
This is an interesting game.
Without really knowing what to do, I fumbled my way through a mission to collect 8 packages of “bio waste”. The mission didn’t really care what I did with the packages after so I ended up dumping them out the back of my ship a few thousand metres over ArcCorp.
I am pretty sure I will end up buying this game. 10/10 would shit on The Man again.
Awesome! Way to contribute to interstellar pollution.
If you like we can meet up sometime and I’d be happy to walk you through the basics.
Some video of the above encounter.
So yes, two things. I suspect the area directly above the city is still a no-fire zone, so your weapons won’t work. If you can find a way to destroy said ship, it means an immediate crime stat with all the associated repercussions.
Best in show day at the expo. That means the top four finishers from the recent fan favourite competition on the website are on display: Hammerhead, Cutlass, Reclaimer, and of course, the winning entry, the Caterpillar. They each got a special Expo livery as well.
