Anyone thinking about signing themselves up to the Starlink waitlist?
If i had the money i would definitely do this
Same. In our area we have to use radio towers to get connected. The setup on my roof cost me R3k and I pay R600 a month for 5mbs. The monthly cost is pretty high. The setup is doable for a once off.
Good morning everyone
I should probably just read up more on this but meh, will rather ask here, do you think that connections to game servers in other countries will be more stable now? Since there is no land mass in the way anymore and i believe theoretically everyone, users and servers will be an equal distance away from each other no? Or am i completely misunderstanding something?
Interesting question, and I sort of think you’re correct. But I am definitely not the best person to be talking about the technicalities of it all.
Maybe one of the Brute Force competitors who needs a topic starter could create a new Topic for discussion about Starlink? And we can move this into a dedicated thread.
You got this!!!
Hey Everyone!
(Animal sound) cluck.
Woah what a week what day is it ?
Argh… Feels like I have shin splints.
Less that 3x the price for 10-30x speed increase? I understand R800 can be a budget breaker, but the price one pays for the service you’ll get seems like money well spent. Unless you can one day get fiber, of course…
That’s the worst. I had a terrible case once and ended up in ER the evening.
That sounds terrible. Fortunately not that bad but it does hurt while walking home but will rest when at home.
it becuase your shoes arent right for you. you may need to get an inner sole for your shoes/tekkies
I have high arches so need a shoe that gives more support in the middle of my foot.
No i dont, struggling to get the motivation to get into running again…
Sadly it’s the only pair of shoes I have, granted their intended purpose is for hiking.
oh ok i see that is unfortunately the problem. Hiking shoes are made to keep your ankles stable. your calves are working to hard now. you may get use to it over time or it will get worse.
You should go to Sportmans warehouse and step on their shoe measure machine, it will tell you which type of shoe you should look at when buying. you can also buy inner soles there.
Yea that is hiking boots, rather save up and get a pair of running shoes. I had to get new shoes for my rebounding work - my running shoes made it difficult now I have flat-soled trainers but am considering to go for this kind of thing -
