I am not ashamed of my THC usage, I take 80mg either every night when my insomnia and stress is very bad or ever second night otherwise. I rather take the capsule than smoke it, I’ve never been able to smoke it. the bonus is this makes you floaty, not that messed up cant function high. I am too much of a control freak to let go completely.
I’ve got a lifetime supply of oxygen if you can tell me what an apple is made from…
Morning
Morning all,
Slept very badly, have a lovely long shift ahead. Not in the mood at all.
Had loads of nightmares last night thanks to mum slicing the pad of her hand just below the thumb completely off.
Based on my previous nights lack of sleep, and running on around 3 hours of sleep, I passed out around 10h30 pm last night. Which I think I kinda needed, but then again, I was awake around 5am as a result then fell asleep again till around 7am.
Morning everyone.
Yeah, Woke up at 4:30 and decided to go back to bed. I slept until 8AM.
Morning all. I’ve given up on ever getting a decent nights sleep again. Nowadays I just take what I can get and go with it. I also need a luggage trolley for the bags under my eyes.
Happy Saturday!
I have been taking vitamin b and it has helped me a lot with sleeping better. I still have some nights where I struggle but I have gone from 4-5 nights of not being able to sleep to just 2. Mind you the tablets im taking also help me with energy during the day as i also felt constantly drained and down.
ive been taking these:
Howdy, folks. Back in Gauteng and taking a slow day to rest before the furious catching up happens.
Hope y’all are having a good one!
Addict / devotee… Its a fine line
Welcome home @SIGSTART
Im exhausted, the payday madness as truly madness today at the shop. I did about 11k steps between 9 - 3pm…and then spent another hour getting more bandages and gause and plasters for mum’s hand. The queues today was just mental. They wanted stuff from checkers, I walked in and turned around and walked out - told the guard he needs to limit the number of people.
Got home, managed to almost nap for 30mins and then started cleaning off cooked bones so that we can keep that meat for pies. Whilst I was at work they made a crap ton of boerewors, a little bit of mince and prepped the meat for biltong.
I made dinner, cleaned the kitchen and washed up and packed away after the family. Then mum showered , soaked her hand in salt water, and we redid the dressing. The wound looks better, but now that I am done with it, I had a mini panic attack again in the bathroom so that she doesn’t know that it freaks me out.
That is one hectic day, @Wyvern, and very kind of you to try and spare your mom. Just don’t compromise your mental health, please?
I hope you get a good night’s sleep.
G’night y’all!
Good morning!
Nice set up @oltman - you should do your Champions of Victory streams from there
Gosh, Sunday School sure has changed a lot since my day. Kids today got it so easy. Back in my day you got a ratty old Children’s Catechism, a hard bench in the back room behind the church, and a grumpy old Irish nun who would rather have been back home enjoying a Guinness in the local pub than stuck in savage Africa with a bunch of unruly heathens.
Morning people of the palace
Hope you all have a good day.
@SIGSTART it seems now that I have seen the wound again - its about the size of a R5 coin, and its already starting heal, I coped better, it was more the anxiety of looking at it after the night before’s nightmares.
I slept better, less bad dreams, moe just dying of heat.
Please hold thumbs the wind dies down today so that they can finally win this battle against the fire in Jonkershoek. It has been going for a week already, 2 firefighters injured badly, no one else yet, and they have managed somehow to keep it in the mountains - so no loss of life or property - huge fire breaks near the farms where they are battling now.
Fire Update: Stellenbosch Fire
28 February 2021 – 9:30 AM
The Cape Winelands District Municipality’s Fire Services together with various partners continue to battle the fire in the mountains and veld above Stellenbosch.
Today marks a week since the fire started in the Overberg area.
The incident command team have reported that the night was quiet with good progress made in certain areas, despite a major flare-up that occurred just before sundown last night in the Jonkershoek valley just above Lanzerac.
The rapid deployment of resources allowed for swift containment.
The fire on the peaks of Bothmaskop through to Jonkershoek are currently burning in very high mostly inaccessible terrain. Due to the inherent risks that the combination of inaccessibility and low visibility and dense cloud cover no immediate action is planned for these fire lines.
The fire lines will either burn our naturally as they run out of fuel or will continue to burn toward more accessible areas. Once they are more accessible firefighting resources will be deployed.
The fire fighting and ground teams assisted by purpose-built vehicles will be deployed to hotspots in the accessible Jonkershoek areas, where they will continue with the management of flare-ups, monitoring and mopping up operations.
These operations will continue throughout the night and into tomorrow.
According to current estimations a total area of 13 600ha has been affected, this includes the areas on the Overberg side. The teams are being replaced by fresh crews this morning. Today’s predicted hot weather will prove challenging to fire fighters and ground teams, as it is conducive to flare-ups and heat exhaustion.
The wind is predicted to increase speed in the late afternoon and the effect of this will be closely monitored.
