I fail to see the problem here. They paid for it, but didn’t use it. Isn’t it just a loss on time and effort?
I’m thinking the best thing now would be software that allows collaboration when people are working remotely. Like we basically can’t work from home because of our boss. He sits in his office and watches youtube and is unreachable by phone. Very annoying. And he is the one that thinks we need some business process flow software.

We miss out on the licensing fees that’s paid yearly.

The sucky thing is we make no money from licensing fees, unless you regard contracting out expertise and hours as “licensing” our people to clients. I’d love to get back to a product environment - it’s a lot less stressful than having to account for every minute of every day. It changes you in a bad way, where you fail to see value in planning, administration and support activities - you’re only chasing billables.
On a side-note, we’re almost done with the registration of a Delaware C-Corp. All documents signed and submitted and we should be registered in 2 weeks from now. We’re going to try and roll out a product to the US from there and tapping our networks there for potential investment.

Woke up to some pressing emails that demand some attention and action points so need to collab with other designers in other countries. Not only that but some local BA’s and designers need assitance in their spaces too. But the good news is that I heard from my landlord this morning and that my rental is not going to increase for the next year at least. Yay!
