I feel and share your pain. Our inverter gets us through the first session okay (if it’s during the day) but dies half way through the second dose because it hasn’t had enough time in between to recharge. The batteries could probably also do with being replaced, but that ain’t in the budget for now.

So yesterday didn’t go well. I didn’t apply for a change of conditions since I’m with the new organisation. So I need to pony up the cash for a Canadian police clearance AND a new application/appointment before I can request a refund for the incorrect application.

My depression has kicked in full force today. :-/ I’m really not up for work but I have to. I’ve also been told I am the health and safety rep and shop rep for the store. I’ll also be getting my alcohol liscense. So I guess thats good news. I also might end up as manager in april if my current manager leaves.

I dunno man. Just had an hour long call with their recruiter, so hopeful for a follow up interview which seems likely based in the interest and response.

The long weekend is because Local Government Elections are being held on Monday.
That said, that loadshedding is being suspended tonight is 100% purely, totally coincidental.
I won’t pull out my Surprised Pikachu if loadshedding needs to resume again next week. Pure, unconnected coincidence again of course. Tuesday would probably be too soon - but I wouldn’t put it past them anyway. Wednesday? Yeah, probably Wednesday.

Know them very well. Was at an interview with them early in my career when they were still based out of Wits’ CS department. Didn’t know they had a CT presence these days, but haven’t really been following them. Last I had contact with them they were in Melrose Arch and Southdowns.
