I am binge watching Rick and Morty. It is so weird and crazy and violent, and yet I cannot stop watching!
Then my wife and I also started watching Community. I love Troy and Abed, and now I have a crush on Allison Brie. We are on season 3, and apparently we should stop watching before it gets bad.
I binged seasons 1 and 2 when they released and followed the season 3 episodes as they released on Netflix. As much as I love it, it can be highly offensive. But I guess it’s all part of the show’s fiber - to offend and be provocative at the same time.
I almost bought a R&M shirt at Pick ‘n Pay clothing today - R99!
The last 3 seasons are definitely weaker than the first 3. That doesn’t mean they’re not worth watching. There are some episodic gems in those last three seasons, there really are. Maybe break up the mayhem that is Rick & Morty with a few Community episodes in-between.
That said, Betty White’s anthropology class and her closing couch rap with Troy and Abed from S2 (I think) helped make the first part of lockdown a lot more bearable in the Redd house…
