Tried continuing with Atomic Heart, but it is impossible with controller (or at least my controller). I tried setting the sensitivity but as soon as the action starts and I try to maneuver around, I end up facing everywhere the enemy is not. Seems interesting, but will leave it for when I’m in the mood to sit in front of the PC with mouse and keyboard instead of the living room with controller.
Then I tried starting Deathloop… controller also not working nicely and aiming is almost impossible at the speed the game operates on. Also parked for kb+m.
Finally I started Plague Tale: Requiem. I was tired and thinking of going to bed by the time I started and it is now 5 hours later. Very smart game.
Right, so I finished GRID 2, now I have an empty void left. Don’t know what to play next. Also judging by the achievements, it seems it wasn’t just people from my friends list that stopped playing the game, a lot of people seem to have never made it to the end of the game, which is kinda sad, but I can see some aspects that people would not like.
Unless you’re entirely GRIDed out, the natural progression line would be to Grid Autosport next, then Grid, and finally to Grid Legends. Unless, for a change of scenery but still staying with Codemasters’ driving games, maybe have a look at some of the Colin McRae Rally and/or Dirt games?
Yeah i was contemplating GRID Legends and GRID 2019, I “tested” GRID Autosport, but unfortunately it goes full sim-racing there so I skipped it, Looking for a game where I can have decent drift races again, the drifting in GRID 2 was not very satisfying. The dirt games are there yes, but each time I think of then I think of those Gymkhana events, which I don’t really enjoy. I have also completed the ones I have more than once now, so I am kinda done. I am also thinking maybe of screwing around in Forza Horizon 4 again, If i had a better PC I would continue with Horizon 5, just kinda tired these days playing everything on lowest settings and barely making 50 FPS
I’ve been playing the Resi 4 Remake. I played the original to death, so I wasn’t sure I’d be too wowed by the remake, but it’s definitely solid!
I have found the FOV and aiming on a controller to feel very weird though. The FOV feels to tight, even at max, which made me a bit motion sick. Otherwise, it’s got that classic Resi 4 feel to the action, it looks stunning, runs well and feels polished.
The graphics at some places are beautiful and I really want to like the game… but I didn’t really enjoy it and I’m not exactly sure why. At one stage I loaded a trainer / cheat and set it to unlimited health just to go finish the story. The reviews for the game are great so I’m sure it is probably just me.
I’m primarily playing Zelda: BotW on PC via Cemu at moment. Almost legal, seeing as I own a copy on Switch. But I wanted buttery smooth 60+ FPS and 4k resolution on my LG OLED, so PC is the way to go.
You and me both! I decided to do one last playthrough before TotK drops. I started on Switch but then decided since I’ve already done it 3 times before I’m going to try set up CEMU again and see how it goes. Now I’m playing at 75FPS (only at 1080p) with infinite health, stamina and weapon durability.
Other than that I’m playing Ghostwire Tokyo on PC as well and Yakuza: Like a Dragon on PS5. Taking a break from Midnight Suns while waiting for the final DLC character. On Switch I’m just grinding in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, trying to get as close to 100% as I can before Zelda comes.
Everspace 2, great space sim/RPG
Lining up some X4 again with their new DLC, amazing sandbox space game
Dungeons and dragons online for my fantasy fix.
Tried some New World again but the community is absolutely horrible.
