I have always wanted to play this game. I need to investigate how to do it.
Haha! Exactly what I am doing! I own both the console and the game, so I dont feel bad at all. the 60FPS and higher resolution, along with the timeless art style, makes this STILL one of the best games Nintendo ever released! Wont be playing Tears of the Kingdom though. Dont have a switch and wont be pirating it if I cannot buy it.
I am also balancing some co-op play:
- Borderlands 1 with a mate who just got a Steam Deck. Still a goodie!
- The Cycle: Frontier which is a 3 player PvPvE extraction shooter
And I am THIIIIIS close to finally finishing Stars Wars Jedi… The game had a great start, fell flat a bit, but then once you unlock more force powers it gets good again!
All on PC
Since playing BL3 and Tiny Tina, I cannot go back to playing BL1 and BL2.
I know, it is tough, but the Enhanced Edition is actually so much smoother and we transfered our characters from vanilla to that. So much better!
See I approve this message 1 and 2 is still the best!
I have a Switch and will be buying TotK the moment there’s a deal running on it… Which is probably only in year 2 or 3. So it gives me some time to finally finish BotW, as I never finished it on Switch.
It really is a brilliant game. One of the best open world RPGs ever created. It’s quite easy to get running via Cemu, but it’s obviously not legal. Still, a quick search in Reddit r/CemuPiracy yields a nice repack that contains everything you need. Make sure to own a console and the game, as piracy is bad, mmmkay?
Just finished Star Wars Jedi! WOW! What a climactic ending! Loved it! Looking forward to the sequel, one day, on sale!
Or… an EA Play Pro subscription for one month for R200 and get one month of unlimited playtime for the Deluxe Edition from launch??
I agree that Borderlands 2 is the best game in the franchise but weirdly enough, like @Beo , I can’t go back to it anymore. About a week or so ago I decided to play it again in an attempt to get the platinum trophy as it’s the only one of the three main games I don’t have. I gave up pretty quickly though. I miss the gameplay from 3 and Wonderlands too much. A BL2 remake with BL3 gameplay and engine would be awesome.
I finished Until Dawn and it was excellent.
Now I’m playing:
Pentiment - XBox
Tyranny - PC
See the story still wins for me, I prefer that!
But overall I am just a Borderlands fan!
100% BL2 story wipes the floor with BL3 or any other game in the franchise. The writing in BL2 was great and jokes actually landed. In 3 it’s like they tried really hard but couldn’t match 2.
Same. I love anything Borderlands.
I found the D&D toasting in Tiny Tina very funny. For pure fun factor, I rate it’s story content pretty high. Nothing serious about it. Its replayability is not so good though. The classes do not have the tactical differences that the classes had in BL2.
Yeah it’s a banger on an ending - much akin to the end sequence of Rogue One.
Finished Most Wanted on Easter weekend, Finished Carbon on the public holiday Monday, then finished Undercover a bit after that (these are all Need For Speed games for those that don’t know.)
Now back to not having much to play, I did however get Crab Champions, that is quite a bit of fun, and seems so far to be regularly updated, it also has working co-op.
I am slightly tempted to get Underground 1 working again after hearing this song:
I have been watching some gameplay of this and I must say, it looks fantastic! Whacky, but awesome. It gives me heavy Risk of Rain 2 vibes.
I am stepping away from Diablo 3 before I get burnt out too much on this style of game before Diablo 4 drops.
Currently chilling with some Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga, this game is so huge and takes a long ass time to check all those boxes but very therapeutic.
When there’s load-shedding I am between Nordic Ashes and started a new game yesterday, Beyond the Long Night.
Very wise!
I’ve recently jumped back into the new season with a new seasonal character for the first time in years. It’s been fun and I realise why I spent so much time in the game way back when. I’ve been playing for about 2 weeks on and off and am already at Paragon 50 running Torment II difficulty… I’m playing a Wizard this time around.
