Gray Zone Warfare - its Early Access, and runs a bit rough on my older hardware. But the potential is def there! Only played PVE so far as the PVP part scares me. I played Tarkov before and the latency killed the fun for me. Then they implemented SA servers and the Europeans banned pings higher than 180ms, so I could no longer play with a @Nosferatie. So we gave up. Gray Zone scratched that itch for us and I am sure it will only get better
We’ve jumped straight into the PvPvE server and it’s gone very well so far. Only one or two pseudo friendly fire incidents. It feels like a mix of old school Arma 3 and EFT, in the best of ways, and the local pricing made this a no brainer to try out.

Still playing Dying Light 2.
Finally figured out the graphics issues. For a reason only the developers will know, the game uses my secondary GTX 1080 GPU, even though none of the monitors that the game runs on are connected to it, it is explicitly set to use the RTX 3070 in both Windows Display Settings & nVidia control panel and no other games ever attempt to run on the 1080. Doing a clean install of the drivers fixes the issue (until restart) or otherwise disabling the 2nd GPU (which in turns enables the DLSS graphics options in the game).
Been play a LOT of hours in Star Wars: the old republic MMO. Hundreds of hours of amazing bioware story quests to enjoy there still.
Will probably stop when D4 season 4 hits next week. D4 takes all of my game time!
Got Hexgaurdian in the steam sales, nice rougelite Tower Defense game.
I finished Dead Space. Excellent game but could have been a bit shorter.
Next up is Marvel’s Midnight Suns.

I’m making a lot of use of cloud saving and Xbox play anywhere at the moment
Definitely one of the best features of modern gaming.
I need suggestions for the bf - he loves games like Call of Juarez - I need similar game suggestions please
I don’t know the CoJ games that well, but I think Shadow Gambit might be similar, just in a fantasy pirate setting. Shadow Tactics might also scratch the itch…
Knowing the guy it is more the Western thing, and RDR is not what he wants lol he found it to slow
You’re thinking of Desperados there. The Call of Juarez games are FPS’s.
@Wyvern have a look at Evil West. It might meet the requirements of fast paced action in a Western theme (plus vampires )
Thank you! Recommendations retracted!
D4 Season 4. Really enjoying it… again. I do realise it will not last. There is only so many characters I can play and have played, before I get tired of it… again.
V-Rising, game came a long way since early access I feel, me and my friends are playing it and we are almost “done” no PVP, so we changed some of the settings of the server for the sake of QoL.
Diablo 4, running sorcerer this time, also taking it a lot easier this time, just relaxing and going through the game at my own pace.
I have a few games on the go but the one I keep finding myself playing is Have a Nice Death via Game Pass. It’s a fun rogue-lite platformer. Tight controls, fun weapon combos and upgrades, and challenging boss fights. All wrapped in a darkly humorous setting.
I started a new game: Lorelei and the Laser Eyes. Wow.
I love it! I’m completely hooked. It’s a stylish puzzle/adventure game. All black and white with some hints of red. It’s mostly logic and number puzzles but wrapped in a mysterious and bizarre world.
I’m playing this game with the calculator, notepad and an image editor open to try and solve these puzzles. It’s unlike anything I’ve played before.
I’m not really a big fan of puzzle games or even puzzles in general, but they way this game presents it makes even me like them.
Playing some xDefiant, scratches that itch for an FPS multiplayer game that isn’t CoD or battlefield, it does still have its issues, but its there for some mindless shooting.
V-Rising, Our friend group just need to defeat the “last boss” now, quite a tough fight, especially with 4 people, but I saw in one of the latest updates they nerfed him a bit, so hopefully we can beat him the next time we try.
Diablo 4 still, still taking it very easy, and chilling all the way.
Playing D4 a lot less, got so many characters over 70. I don’t see the point of the end game, not very rewarding. Just playing with friends when they are on. Must be the quickest season that got me to the boredom point out of the 4, just over 2 weeks.
Resubbed some more SWTOR, got some story lines to enjoy in there.
Eyeing Game Pass for maybe some immortals of aveneum, lords of the manor etc
