No, all of it was for descendants, the “frames” for the game, to use a warframe term.
This game has taken over the torch from film and media for Star Wars, bringing the player into the world, in a way, that no movie or tv show can. You can be a Jedi It helps, the worlds are visually breathtaking.
I’m trying to stick to one game per platform for the most part at the moment, but in-between I will play Destiny on either PC, XBox or PS5 as well.
PC
Pathfinder Wrath of the Rigtheous
Switch
Octopath Traveller 2
Xbox
Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree
PS5
The Last of Us 2
3DS
Fire Emblem Awakening
First tried Scars Above and then after an hour and two bugs, requested a refund for it.
Then tried God of War, but I can’t get it to work with my controller. Will attempt this later again.
Finally started Metal Gear - The Phantom Pain
I got Suicide Squad through Prime gaming the other day and I’ve really been enjoying it. So much so that I’ve bought it on PS5 as well and play it on both thanks to cross platform progession. I can sort of see why people complained about the live service model but at the end of the day the gameplay is so much fun that I just don’t care.
Hopefully the game has enough active players that the devs will see through their initial plan of season. I really want some more characters on the team. Red Hood and Deathstroke can both be great.
I’m waiting on a good sale for it. It’s piquing my interest.
Currently 70% off on the base game over on both the Epic Games Summer Sale and on GMG:
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League | Download and Buy Today - Epic Games Store
Or via Green Man Gaming if you’d prefer a Steam version (and maybe a little more off if you’ve bought from GMG before…)
Thanks! Will look into this…
I have also been playing this and, I must say, thoroughly enjoying it. While I can see some of its pitfalls, I don’t think all the criticism it received is wholly warranted.
I’m currently somewhat hooked on Demon’s Souls again (PS5). I’m actually still busy with Elden Ring but just felt like going back to Demon’s Souls for a bit and then it got its claws in me. I’m really enjoying this game again. Might actually continue into NG+ this time, but we’ll see. For now I’m playing along to fightingcowboy’s walkthrough just in case there are armour sets or weapons I somehow missed. The combat is much slower than Elden Ring but I actually somewhat prefer this. It just feels more tense.
Side note: this is still the best looking on PS5 IMO. Bluepoint really achived something incredible with this remake. Too bad Sony hates it fans and won’t let them do Bloodborne as well.
I started Alan Wake II. It’s quite excellent so far! I love the atmosphere and narrative.
I want to take the time somewhere to replay everything from the beginning:
Alan Wake
American Nightmare
Control
Alan Wake 2
For now I’m still busy with MGS Phantom Pain. Starting to like it. Plus there is some Afrikaans in there. When you shoot a South African bad guy, his buddies call out: “Is jy ok?”
Struggling to really enjoy and get stuck into games, played some multiplayer on CoD, did feel nice after not playing normal multiplayer in ages, it has tapered off now after playing all the maps, but if anyone feels like playing, give me a shout.
Otherwise, I started playing Warcraft 3 multiplayer again, Tower Defense and Hero Defense maps, so great, it is still my favorite multiplayer game of all time honestly.
I tried to do that in preparation for AW2 but I just could not get into AW1 again. I liked it when it came out but some of the gameplay just felt like a slog now.
D4 Season 4 but 2 weeks in I have already reached the point where, if I am not playing with my friends, I don’t play at all. Also playing some more The First Descendant.
Is it not Season 5 now? It’s pretty much all I’m playing when I have the time. Levelling a minion / corpse explosion / curse necro now and it feels like easy mode. Managed to do my first NMD46 at level 75 already and now at Pit level 7, with character level 80 and really unoptimised gear. Only have 2x 925 gear pieces, with 1x and 2x greater affixes each.
Absolutely, the season is incredibly easy, only little bit of challenge are the infernal hordes but that is terribly spammy. They really removed almost any challenge
PS5
Cyberpunk 2077
Midnight Suns
PC
Darksiders 3
Cyberpunk 2077
Switch
Octopath Traveller 2
Xenoblade Chronicles 2
Since posting that yesterday I have played around a lot getting the PS3 emulator running on my PC so now I’m also playing Lollipop Chainsaw on that.
But then I also hooked up my PS3 and tried to solve the issue I was having with it (long story lol) and so I started up Army of Two on there as well.
Me and 2 friends are trying an experiment: we are so tired of playing multiplayer games where levels are a blocker. It is no fun when your friends are either higher or lower levels than you. So we are playing a 3 player team in Once Human with the understanding among ourselves that we ONLY play together, no soloing anything other than gathering. One person will do the building and let the other 2 know what are needed to gather, we then can gather solo. We explore and level together.
Will see if everyone sticks to this
