This is actually the first time I’ve seen them include a season pass in Game Pass. It’s kind of strange to be honest. It’s an Atlus published title and has nothing to do with MS but the season pass is free on Game Pass.
Yeah sadly they stopped the console development so no access to Odyssey. At least I have access to planetary landings and exploration I guess. But I still have so much love for the game.
So after 115 hours and a couple of months playing Metal Gear Solid 5, I finally finished it… or so I thought. There was a bug during the end credits which forced me to close the game and then I opened the game again to see if there might be some scene after the credits.
It was at that point that I discovered that I only finished chapter 1. Blood hell. The boss at the end of it sure felt like it should have been the end of everything cause killing that thing was a beach.
Did you include Ground Zeroes in that, or are you only really to Phantom Pain. Nevertheless, both are fantastic experiences and in my replay list. Albeit, I do agree with you.
In a bid to play something new I “rented” star wars outlaws from Ubisoft for a month. R300 is not bad for something that costs a lot more and that I will finish way into that month.
I did Ground Zeroes first, but didn’t include it in the count. When I played Ground Zeroes, it was my first introduction to the game and after getting frustrated, I eventually played it with a trainer just to get through it.
I’m actually playing Phantom Pain also with a trainer, but mostly due to the crap mechanic that forces you to restart the whole mission from the beginning if you fail or die. I simply don’t have the time to be replaying the same content over and over so now I’m maar immortal. I’m mostly in it for the story anyway.
Like I said with Death Stranding, this guy that created this story, his mind must be an interesting place. Pity that the earlier games in this series are so old. Would have been nice to play them, but there’s no way I can play games that old anymore.
I actually played all the first 4 mainline games last year and this year. Played the Gamecube remake of the first game (Twin Snakes) and then the PS3 HD versions of 2 and 3. Great games but yeah the gameplay is very dated. Just taking the gun out and aiming is such a schlep.
Im currently playing through the Onimusha series, which are also PS2 games but at least they don’t control like ass.
Severed Steel. It was on my wishlist and got discounted to R15. I would gladly have played full price.
It’s like Mirror’s Edge but with heavy gunplay emphasis and some Max Payne bullet time.
It looks gorgeous, has a killer soundtrack and overall great presentation. Most importantly, it’s wonderful to play!
I picked up where I left off in Shin Megami Tensai III: Nocturn Remastered on my PS4 about a week ago.
Funny how I was stuck running back and forth looking where to progress for a few hours when I put it aside for at least 6 months I think, only to find the place I needed to go within the first 5-10 minutes of picking it back up.
Don’t know if anyone has Dawn of War 1 or 2, on steam, but the devs gave the DLC away for free on the 19th so I installed DoW 2 last stand, and played that again, so much fun, and I get constant games, there are still so many people playing this game and its great.
Also playing Dota 2 doing the crownfall event, its like the only reason to play that game right now for me, and I think as long as I don’t take the game seriously I will continue to enjoy it.
