What are you playing now?

Yeah I quite liked the SH2 Remake as well!

Good to hear, I had that wishlisted.

I bought Bloodtypers and Dead Letter Dept. from Steam’s Typing Festival.

Both interesting and fun games. Obviously they use the keyboard extensively.

Also playing the Nioh 3 demo and new playthrough of Ninja Gaiden 4.

Played something different for a change.
Telltale’s The Expanse.
Finished it over the weekend and then started the series on Amazon.

Also tried getting back into We Happy Few. I last played it when it was on XBox Game Pass the last time, so it is a bit of a mission to get back into it, but would like to finish the story. Think I’m on the 3rd playthrough character.

I am really feeling like a good survival game with some good combat progression. Tried loading up Dune again and found out that nothing was changed with the combat which is a huge weakness with it.

Loaded up Once Human again and really enjoying it again, third time I am running through it. I just have to get over the dissonance between the world and the player built buildings as well as all the many many currency rewards the usual eastern P2P game throws at you.

Whenever I get the chance I play Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Took a little while to get into, but now I am fully into it. It has been a very long time since I played an AC game all the way to the end. I think it was Brotherhood!!! But will stick this out, as I like the world, the lore, and the main character Kassandra is easy on the eye

Origins, Odyssey, Valhalla. 3 Open world games that absolutely loved and still think fondly of.

So I managed to finish 2 games this weekend:

  • We Happy Few
Was a bit hard to get back into, but luckily I didn’t have far to go since the last character playthrough was quite short compared to the other two. Overall quite a unique story.

  • Jedi Survivor
While I’m not really a Starwars fan, I must say that these two games (this and Jedi Fallen Order) were not bad at all.

I did play both games using WeMod since I just don’t have the time anymore to die and keep trying, so I’m mostly playing for the story anyway.

Up next is between Metal Gear Solid 4, Resident Evil 4 and the remake of TES Oblivion.

I finished Resident Evil 4 remake. Going to play the DLC as well and maybe Village NG+ before Requiem.

Also playing

PS5
Nioh 3

Switch
Dragon Quest VII Reimagined

PC
Resident Evil 4 DLC
Romeo is a Dead Man
Warframe

With KCD2 coming to game pass I also want to see if I can get back into the first game again and finish it before 2 drops.

yeah, I miss game having built in cheats. My way of playing was always to complete the game first without cheats and then its fair game on how to play it after that.

Yeah, in the good old days before kids when I had the time
I still play some games without cheats like Death Stranding, Metal Gear Solid and even new games that I’m trying out, but games like Jedi Survivor where the combat feels a bit repetitive or in games with large death penalties, the cheats go on.

The games where I used cheats the heaviest was Mortal Kombat, Injustice and Tekken. I suck at fighting games like that, but wanted to complete the story.

Some demos.

Rune Dice, nice roguelike “dice combining”? game.
Far Far West, co-op PVE, FPS roguelike extraction shooter type game. quite fun.
Everything is crab, fun evolution game.
ITER 8, dome keeper style game, with defense towers mining and and interesting world.
How many dudes?, auto-battler pretty fun to just kill some time.

John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando, really really good zombie horde game, has vehicles, open maps with multiple points of interests. Decent class system with both a skill tree and gun leveling with gun attachments allowing you to improve its stats, no need to pickup weapons in the overworld like Left 4 Dead and other zombie games, except for cool heavy weapons. And finally there are stages where you can setup defenses to defend against the hordes like in Back 4 Blood and World War Z. If the game was cheaper I for sure would have bought it.

Wreckfest Multiplayer Wednesdays, also playing the single player which is basically done, just need a few more races where I need to first buy specific cars.

Diablo II Resurrected, infernal edition. Pretty fun, old school, newer graphics. SO much nostalgia

I’m trying to mostly focus on Nioh 3 and DQ but sometimes I need a change of pace. I think I might finish Nioh today. Maybe

Also played a bit of Marathon server slam this weekend and really enjoyed it. My only experience with extraction games is the Dark Zone in Division.

I finished the Resident Evil 4 remake. Must still do the Separate Ways content.
It’s ok and I’ve now finally played through most of the RE games I could never play before due to age. I’ll still play Resident Evil 5 if they release a remake for it and I think there is another remake in the works… but I don’t really see myself enjoying RE6 and later. I’m not a fan of horror games or of FPS games, and it looks like RE6 and later is both (with more focus on the horror than the previous games).

RE6 is the most non horror game in the series. It is pretty much full on action, which is why most fans hated it at the time. Even RE4 and its remake are less action focused than it is IMO.

It’s one of my favourites because of that. The melee abilities are really cool. In RE4 you have to stun enemies and then you can melee them but in RE6 you can do melee combos into finishers.

Like so many others arount the world I just got back into Division 2 (yet again :p) I now own the game on ps4, xbox, uplay and steam. :stuck_out_tongue:

I originally just wanted to try realism mode but then decided to just finally play the brooklyn DLC on PC and then of course I noticed it’s 5x SHD XP this weekend. I saw some MEW people playing and even got an invite from @Wyvern friday night (i think) but the stupid ubisoft overlay didnt’ want to work and I couldn’t figure out how to accept it in game . I did also get “scared” when i saw my SHD level is like 50 and everyone else is above 1000.

Even with the 5 x XP I won’t get close to that anytime soon, I’m too casual a player. For now I just finish the Brooklyn DLC and then I’ll see how I feel but I’d like to try at least play this one night a week for the foreseeable future.
