I just got gifted a 3DS and a few games but I immediately bought Dragon Quest VIII so I’ll be playing that first.
I am still hooked on Doom Eternal the game is hard and fun at the same time.
Multi player games a friend of mine got me into playing Stormworks rescue with him. What a complex game. Its crazy what some people make in that game
I had difficulty reading that.
lol my bad ><
Yesterday I started playing Cyber Shadow, which is free on Gamepass. I heard it’s a bit like The Messenger, and the similarity in the look and feel is there. I only got 30 minutes in, but I liked what I played!
I’m probably going to start The Medium when it releases tomorrow.
Man, I’m really enjoying Dragon Quest VIII. So glad I took a chance on Dragon Quest XI during Lockdown last year. It is fast becoming one of my favourite series. I’m even considering getting a slime tattoo, I love the design so much.
Sucked back into Eve online and playing some Last Epoch on the side, trying out the new rogue class and hoping release date will be soon.
Thanks to my SS, I received Darksburg - soooooo much fun so much dying. Its actually very difficult I think the longest we survived was 15mins
Finished Watch Dogs 2 and it was pretty mediocre.
Next up:
The Medium - Series X
Darkest Dungeon - PC
I’m back in the Bloodborne train. Going for Platinum.
Valheim, yet another early access survival game. Pleasantly surprised, despite the low end poly for the graphics.
Still on Bloodborne, on the journey to Platinum.
PC
Nioh 2
Yakuza: Like a Dragon
Switch
Dragon’s Dogma
Xenoblade Chronicles 2
Dragonball FighterZ
3DS
Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King
Finally finished Starcraft 1 Broodwars… and I suck at it. For the Zerg campaign, I had to use the cheats.
I finished The Medium. I liked it a lot. It’s not a game for everyone. It’s slow, dripping with atmosphere and has a good story. My kind of game.
Now I’m playing:
Nioh 2 - PC
Torchlight III - Series X
Playing the dust out of Insurgency Sandstorm. It is free this weekend and I might buy it. Nice balance between realism and action shooter.
I finished Cyber Shadow and The Medium. Two good but very different games. In the spirit of actually finishing games, I have now moved back to Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
Beat Saber and The Climb, both native Quest versions. When I feel the need to play some AAA games I connect to Virtual Desktop and play some Half-Life: Alyx.
I tried Elite Dangerous this morning, but struggled to get my Warthog flight stick to work in VR and having to feel my way around the keyboard with the left hand just felt unnatural. The Oculus Touch controllers work half decently, but I just wasn’t in the mood for it. It looks incredible though and the ship feels much bigger in VR than on a flat screen.
Honestly, the freedom the Quest 2 brings and the “pick up and play” nature of it just makes it feel like a chore to start up PCVR titles.
Valheim. Really loving this gem, best early access game I have ever played. It is survival lite, it has a story, you have goals and there is just an insane amount of content for early access. Most early access survival games run out of things to do after a few hours, this one does not. I also listen to a LOT of norse/scandinavian folk music while playing. It really sets the tone. The most amazing thing about this game, for me, is the environment and how engaging it is.
Eve online. Joined a corporation in dangerous space, went through a series of interviews to get in. Building up trust with these brits/germans by scouting wormholes in the space that we have. Hoping to make some friends and build relationships for at least a year. This game is all about the people and trust.
