I finished Gears 5: Hivebusters and it was good. Nice of MS to give it away for free.
Now I’m playing:
Observation - Series X
Nioh 2 - PC

My birthday month is coming up, so I want to get Batman: Arkham Knight installed - replaying it on my new system.
Xbox
Dirt 5 - feels and looks like the first true successor to dirt 2
Space Crew. Cute little game, actually enjoying it. I tried Bomber Crew before but the management of things got too hectic for me. Space Crew allows me to chill more.
Girlfriend and I have been absolutely addicted to some black ops 3 zombies for over 2 months. Really wish there were more couch co op games we could play together, but it does seem to be a dying breed.
We bought Borderlands 3 for cheap-cheap today as well which will be delivered next week. Stoked to jump into some more couch co op!
This is so true.
Was just about to suggest this.
I’ve just got stuck into it again. Along with Elite Dangerous and some sideline Nioh 2 here n there.
The BL3 is fuuuuuuuuuuuuuun! Its not BL2, but its still good we really loved it, I think there are still stuff we need to finish!
I played Observation for a bit but it’s really not my kind of game.
So now I’m playing:
Nioh 2 - PC
Dirt 5 - Series X
Series S
Borderlands 3
Forza Horizon 4
PC
Yakuza: Like a Dragon
Nioh 2
Grim Dawn
PS4
Remnant: From the Ashes
Final Fantasy 7 Remake
Rage 2 (Epic)
GTA V/Online (Epic)
DOOM Eternal (…)
Need for Speed: Heat (…)
Warzone
Sleeping Dogs
Loop Hero
I tried playing Castlevania (with WeMod) and tried DMC: Devil May Cry… tried both because I wanted to chill in front of the tv with controller, but the XBox One Controller sucks and is unusable. Going to try buying a wireless receiver to see if that solves the nonsense so that it connects to that rather than via bluetooth.
I finished Dirt 5. I’m surprised how short it is. Even got the achievement for completing all events. It’s a good thing it was on Game Pass because if I actually paid money for it I wouldn’t have been happy. It was some good mindless fun though.
So now I’m playing:
Nioh 2 - PC
Desperados 3 - Series X
I played some Loop Hero over the weekend.
Back at work from today so I’ll be starting up Switch and 3DS again. First up is Zelda Link Between Worlds on 3DS.
How is that? I’ve seen some recommendations on YT around that. It’s a “roguelike” innit?
It’s a strange combination of roguelite, reverse tower defense, deck building, and an idler.
I found it quite chill. It also has a fantastic retro 8bit sort of sound track
yeah it’s a bit weird but I like it, it is hard, but not impossible, just need to find that right combo deck with the class you are playing, and pray to RNG that you get decent loot, managed to get to loop 12 once, filling the entire road with stuff, but it seems steam did not save the screenshot
EDIT: Nevermind found it, might be a bit spoilery but is shows the how the map could look as you go along:
Finished DmC: Devil May Cry (with WeMod).
It was ok. The hacking and slashing gets tiresome and I wouldn’t have completed the game without the trainer. I was just in it for the story anyway. Darksiders still much better though.
Tried Castlevania again with WeMod and if you miss a quicktime event after the boss fight, you still die. I’m not sure if it is the controller that is full of crap or what, but I can’t seem to hit even the first quicktime event in this specific boss fight.
All in all, I must really stop this practice where I start a game for a couple of hours and then just leave it for sometime in the future… I forget all the controls and how the game plays so continuing with both DmC and Castlevania has been a mission.
Yeah, I do the same. Often it’s just to check out a game quickly or it just doesn’t gell with me at the time. At which point I will start over when returning to it.
