Yes yes. Rub it in that i’m in the wrong Cape province :stuck_out_tongue:

Dude that branch in particular is just amazing, I do everything there and it is a question of get there, do it and go. They are the only place that has most of their till points open at any given time. At most a disk renewal takes me 1 hour, the drivers side is even faster.

We are just trying to convince you to get to the right one :stuck_out_tongue:

Now I’m going to have to figure out some strange government system to book.

I actually drove to Sasolburg in the Free State to renew my driver’s license the last time I had to do it. Because the time before it took me a whole day at the Randburg branch.

My family is doing the same thing. Problem is the job I have here. There’s no way with my (lack of) qualification’s of landing even remotely the same paying/benefit job, which means we’d have to mostly rely on my wife’s teacher salary. Something we not quite ready to risk yet. Plus it hasn’t even been a year since we bought our house. So definitely 5-10 years from thinking of moving at this point, unless something serious/drastic changes.

But it definitely a pipe-dream  I have a soft spot for Western Cape and winelands in particular

All of the Joburg offices (Gauteng even?) are kak. My last renewal at Marlboro took almost four hours of shuffling forward in a long queue of people - all of whom seemingly had the same appointment time as me.

Tried numerous times to book a Driving Test slot for Kid Redd. Never happens. It’s beyond frustrating.

Yes we do! Just to make the divide official

It’s a bit of a drive, but I go to Bronkhorstspruit. Got a booking almost two years ago without too much trouble, got there 40 minutes late on a Friday, and still got out of there after only about an hour.

Mornings!

I tried so vegan cheese today… On its own it tastes awful…very grainy and nothin glike cheese at all. But on a sandwich with vegan mayo and vegan margarine it was OK. The ultimate test will be to have it on a burger.

BTW if youre wondering WTF anyone would try vegan cheese it’s because I have an auto immune disease and Im trying to eliminate foods to see what is triggering it besides dust, the sun, sunscreen etc. I have started with eliminating dairy first as I had a lot of dairy in my diet.

Best of luck finding the trouble foods.

I hope you’ll be putting the vegan cheese on a beef burger.
