I’m not sure about this… I’ll watch it I’m sure, but I’m no manga man. Those who are weren’t particularly impressed by the last live action manga adaptation that Netflix did - Cowboy Bebop. Again, I didn’t think that show was too bad when viewed as a standalone sci-fi episodic. It definitely could have had a second season.
