Nutella and Peanutbutter
Now if only I could afford the Nutella.
Nutella and Peanutbutter
Now if only I could afford the Nutella.
That was quite possibly the worst limerick Iâve ever readâŠ
A spoonfull of nutella in coffee. . . . SO good. Same on icecream
Pity I havenât had any nutella in months
In the words of my now brother-in-law as he spread Nutella on his sandwiches (back when we were still in High School):
âNutella! Nutella! Nutella! Nutella! Nutella! Nutella! Nutella! Nutella! Nutella! Nutella! Nutella! Nutella! Nutella! Nutella! Nutella! Nutella! Nutella! Nutella! Nutella! Nutella! Nutella! Nutella! Nutella! Nutella!â
I may have missed one or two Nutellaâs there.
Not sure if sarcastic, so just in case allow me to introduce you to the reason TikTok deserves to be a social network:

Today is @wenzdayzâs birthday
Today is also Frozen Yogurt Day
Another food related celebration day today - this time for the delicious, healthy dessert treat froyo.
Whether you call it âfroyoâ or âfrogurtâ, frozen yogurt has all the benefits and diversity of flavors that are bestowed upon its more famous predecessor, ice cream. But it is far healthierâwithout sacrificing any of the yummy taste.
Live active cultures and naturally occurring calcium make frozen yogurt a treat that is great for the tastebuds as well as the body!
Yogurt is a treat that has been around for much longer than most people would guess. It is well over 4000 years old, in fact! Yogurt found its start in the Middle East and India where it was (and continues to be!) used extensively in just about every kind of meal imaginable.
But it wasnât until the 1900âs that yogurt found its way to the western world and the Americas, and increased in popularity so quickly and thoroughly that itâs no longer thought of as exotic.
By the 1970s, when ice cream was hitting all-time popularity, some bright spark knew they could do betterâand then they did. They froze the yogurt in a treat that was similar to ice cream but also uniquely different.
Frozen yogurt sales exploded after TCBY launched its first store in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1981, and by 1986 sales had reached $25 million dollars annually. By 1990, it was 10% of the frozen dessert market, and frozen yogurt was here to stay.
In these socially distant times make your own, or be safe and grab your froyo to go, and have a great Saturday!
Now this is a day I can get behind!

Today is also Wave All Your Fingers at Your Neighbour Dayđ
Probably the most obscure of the âholidaysâ Iâve found so far. And it seems that the part of it that is emphasised is the âall your fingersâ bit. Presumably the idea is to try and be friendly to your neighbours for a change and rather than the usual one finger salute you give them, today you try to mend some fences and build up your relationship with a full fingered wave instead .
So, if youâre someone who has give your neighbour the finger before because they have annoyed you, on this date you can try to wave in a friendly manner instead. Sounds easy enough, right?
Not everyone reading this is going to have enjoyed a pleasant relationship with their neighbour. Especially those of us in urban neighbourhoods where we have many neighbours - to the left, to the right, above and below.
We all have stories about neighbours from hell.* If you feel that your neighbour falls into this category, you may not want to wave at them in a friendly manner. However, taking the high road, even if it is just for one day, can feel better than you may expect. Plus, simply seeing the shock on your neighbourâs face because of your unexpected friendliness can make it worth it.
One thing that we can all agree on is that we could all do with a little bit more kindness in the world, and that is what this day is all about. Enthusiastic greetings and genuine happiness to see another person can make them feel great about themselves and start off their day in the best possible way.
After all, itâs better to be the neighbour that everyone loves, rather than the grump that everyone dislikes! It doesnât take a lot of effort to be friendly and greet people with a nice wave and a smile.
Have a super Sunday! And, âHi neighboursâ
* After giving your neighbours the full fingered friendly wave, come back here and tell us about the worst neighbours from hell youâve had in the past.
DoneâŠ
I will wait until tomorrow to throw the **** against the fan.

Today is Clean Out Your Computer Day
A day we could all benefit from - Clean Out Your Computer Day!
Dust out the fans, clean the cat fur off the air filter screens, clear all the gunge out of your keyboard. And once itâs all sparkly good as new on the outside, spend some time giving your pride and joy a little internal cleanse too. Clean up all the old hard drive clogging files and software junk you no longer use or need too.
When was the last time you cleaned out your fans and dusted off your motherboard?
Have you looked at your graphics card to see if its cooling fan and fins are clean? For that matter, when did you last clean out you even opened the case?
Make sure that your system is powered down and disconnected and then find a good online tutorial to show you the way to get it done safely. All that dust traps heat, and if you arenât aware, computers really donât function well under high stress and heat.
Once you have it all cleaned out inside, youâll want to put it back together and boot it up. Believe us, youâre likely to see an immediate improvement in its performance.
Once thatâs done, itâs time to go through and clean out unnecessary files from your computer, a clogged up hard drive can be just as bad as a clogged up fan on your computer, though it wonât as often destroy your computer.
The first part - cleaning your hardware - youâll need to handle yourself. For the second part - cleaning up the software - you can find a lot of help online. Software that will scour your drives and make suggestions on junk to clear up for you. One of the most frequently recommended tools for that task is CCleaner.
Have a mega Monday!
I did that last night!
Early bird! I did mine in December, and already itâs starting to get cluttered again.
Hehe
I do the whole dusting thing once a month and cleaning the files and so on once every 2 months
Saving up for an upgrade kit so yeah will definitely rebuild my pc and clean everything
We should celebrate by posting pictures of dusty PCâs and tagging Flex in them

Today is Extraterrestrial Culture Day
Outlandish as it sounds, todayâs celebration, Extraterrestrial Culture Day, is actually an officially recognized and sanctioned day. At least in New Mexico.
Extraterrestrial Culture Day was created in 2003 when US Representative Daniel Foleyâs proposal to recognize it was approved by the New Mexico House of Representatives to celebrate this day. Foley, who is from Roswell, thought that taking advantage of something that âdid or did not happenâ decades ago would contribute to the recognition of New Mexico.
It is believed that on 8 July, 1947, an object crashed near rancher William Brazelâs home outside Roswell, during a powerful storm. If it were not for William, the Roswell Incident wouldnât have been known to the general public. Government scientists arrived and declared that it was a weather balloon that had crashed and quickly collected and hid all evidence of the crash. A Major Marcel, who was involved in the incident, later claimed that the US government had covered up the existence of an alien aircraft. Still, the 1947 Roswell Incident remains an unexplained and mysterious incident.
Extraterrestrial Culture Day celebrates extraterrestrial cultures, and our past, present and future relationships with extraterrestrial visitors.
There are many ways to celebrate this day. One could watch their favorite alien movie or documentary. You could also read one of the many books about alien contact, or even a book about UFOs and aliens visiting Earth.
You could also mark the day by sharing your alien encounter or UFO sighting with us.
We are not alone. Have a terrific Tuesday!
Now would be a great day for Trump to spill the beans on Aliens!

Today is Umbrella Day
I know you started singing âYou can stand under my umbrella, ella, ella, eh, eh, ehâ in your head the moment you saw what todayâs celebration was. No shame. I did too.
While Umbrella Day is not an ode to the Rihanna song, but rather to the object itself, there is nothing stopping you from dancing in the (hose pipe?) rain and recreating some of the moves from her ridiculously catchy and very popular music video! â⊠ella, ella, eh, eh, eh!â
Everyone is familiar with the sight of an umbrella. Theyâre present whether you live in the hottest of climates or the coldest. They come in a vast array of shapes and sizes. They can be personal, shared or even fixed. Theyâre there to keep the rain off on a blustery day, and there to protect you from sunburn on a warm and sunny one. Thereâs simply no day that isnât a perfect Umbrella Day! So, of course, thereâs a holiday to honor this ever useful, ever fashionable, and essential piece of equipment. ââŠunder my umbrella, ella, ella,âŠâ
Whether yours is functional or fashionable, bright and colourful or plain and monochrome, whether itâs small enough to carry in your bag or big enough to shield the whole family out on the beach, umbrellas are part of our lives. âWhen the sun shines, weâll shine togetherâŠâ
Umbrellaâs are an innovative tool, that have been around for thousands of years. Evidence of their use can be found in ancient art and artifacts in Egypt, Assyria, Greece and China. Not only do they keep us dry during the rain, but they can also protect us from the damaging rays of the sun. âYou can stand under my umbrella, ella, ella, eh, eh, eh.â
As a result, in more modern times, the umbrella has become an apt symbol for climate change, representing the dueling forces of floods and droughts that have rocked the planet in recent years. Whether itâs heavy rain or blistering sun, the humble umbrella will become one of the go-to tools in the toolbox in adapting to climate change. ââŠunder my umbrella, ella, ella,âŠâ
Letâs see your Rihanna TikTok clips already! Drop those links!
It is Wednesday, my umbrella, ella, ella dudes!

Today is Fat Thursday
Fat Thursday is a traditional Christian feast marking the last Thursday before Lent and is associated with the celebration of Carnival. Because Lent is a time of fasting, the days leading up to Ash Wednesday provide the last opportunity for feasting until Easter.
Traditionally it is a day dedicated to eating, when people meet in their homes or cafés with their friends and relatives and eat large quantities of sweets, cakes and other meals usually not eaten during Lent.
If ever there was an excuse to load up on sweet treats and take indulgent eating to the next level, Fat Thursday is just the ticket. A celebration of all things dough-related, this Polish tradition offers a gilt-edged, guilt-free opportunity to gorge on doughnuts or pÄ czki. PÄ czki are traditional fried delicacies that contain rose jam.
The idea behind Fat Thursday is treating the taste buds and enjoying the flavor of rich, decadent foods before Lent begins. Lent is a time that many people choose to cut out certain foods or alcohol, for example. In Polish, Fat Thursday is known as TĆusty Czwartek.
It is Fat Thursday. Donuts!
