I used to watch the Oscar nominated movies each year just to make my own mind up, but the past few years have been such lackluster movies I just don’t have the time or patients to sit through such snorefest movies anymore.

I’m just going to go ahead and forego any stresses of getting full marks for this week. With all the work I have, conferences, wife going back to work etc, things are hectic so I know I won’t have time to get the full 3 marks. I’ll try my best though.

Here is my topic and article for the week:
I must admit, I’ve never really gotten into the grand strategy real time battles of the Total War series. Despite that I definitely felt that the Warhammer lore was a great pairing with the Total War model. I’ve got the first TW: Warhammer sitting in my backlog, but it was the shiny, brand new TW: Warhammer III releasing on Game Pass that prompted me to take a proper look.
One thing I can say is the cinematics are truly epic, they definitely set the tone for this vast fantasy world.

I did nor manage to write an article, but here is my thread for the week. At least I got that done.
So thanks to the wonderful suggestions by the community, I’ve started playing Divinity: Original Sin 2, and I know a lot of others have either played the game, are currently doing another playthrough, or want to play the game.
For me, this game has been a revelation! It is such a wonderful, joyous experience and I NEED to talk about it.
Currently, I’m still on the first island, the one with Fort Joy. In this campaign, I am playing as Ifan ben-Mezd and I’ve configured him to be a tank and a fig…

To make sure I get at least one point, here is my thread…
The soundtrack of a game is incredibly important, and many games sport some epic soundtracks. But sometimes a game has that one song that completely transforms the game, either during a mission, or a certain cutscene.
So my question to you is, what has been the song or piece of music that made a game more epic? Either making you feel like a better badass in-game, tugging at your heartstrings, or filling you with a serene sense of wonder.

Good news for those who dislike the fact that there are so many game launchers and clients that they have to keep with. (Go GOG Galaxy 2.0 already!) From April you’ll have one less launcher to worry about. The Bethesda.net Launcher is being put out to pasture, and Bethesda games will be migrating to Steam.
